✨ Save the date - The Purple Ball is back! ✨
Join us on Saturday 14th November at the Harbour Hotel, Guildford for a fantastic evening raising money for Topic of Cancer.
We're also looking for raffle prize donations to help make the night a success.
Super excited. Heading to the British Society for Haematology (#BSH2026) conference in Liverpool. Can't wait to present our exercise trial in #CLL, run by the amazing @EllieeMiles, and talk about the use of Exercise Immunology in Blood Cancer. @UniSurreyBioSci @CLLSupport

Great work from my PhD student @EllieeMiles on her 1st of many papers on #CLL in @e_JHaem. She shows that being physically active with CLL is associated with better QoL & reduced symptoms of CLL, including fatigue, pain, and physical limitations.

Among patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia, undetectable MRD and progression-free survival were more common with ibrutinib–venetoclax than with ibrutinib alone or chemoimmunotherapy, with benefits sustained at 5 years.
