@sintaxasn gave me the full PSADT rundown. If you’re not sure what it is, why it matters, or how to push it to the limit in your deployments, this episode has you covered. Grab it here or wherever you listen to podcasts: youtube.com/watch?v=y3zWcb8u…

Ok, here's a non-paywalled version of the update for localhost breaking with this month's CUs (ex. KB5066835). This one is specific to Win 11 ... but presumably applies to other releases, including Server, that are experiencing the same issue.

PSA: have heard multiple reports that this month's CUs (ex. KB5066835) break/alter the localhost loopback in ways that has broken a fairly wide swath of software. No official word yet that I'm aware of. Paging @bytenerd

Who's really maintaining your patch catalog? If it’s crowdsourced, the answer might be someone with zero stake in your org’s security, and that risk is real. We've broken down why curated > crowdsourced for third-party patching. Get all the details ⬇️ patchmypc.com/blog/curated-v…

If you need an application pakager or Windows 365 MVP, @xenappblog is your guy. He played a transformational role with us as we moved from #ConfigMgr to #MSIntune. He helped rationalize, upgrade and repackage over 1500 apps in our portfolio. He brought automation to the process, helped develop packaging standards, decreased our package turnaround time from weeks to hours (minutes sometimes!). He demonstrated a great ability to work through complex apps with ease while engaging with customers for testing and issue resolution. And he was able to do all of this with minimal supervision/work direction. I would hire him back in a heartbeat if I could!! #MSIntune #MVPBuzz #windows #Microsoft #apps #packaging #jobs
Today is my last day of 6 years working together with @AdamGrossTX and his team. Unfortunately, C-levels thinks its a good idea to outsource all IT to India. Well, if anyone is looking for an Intune Application Packager Expert please DM and RT. I will be at @mmsmoa in October.

I've helped manage my orgs Enterprise Agreements (or EES for schools) since 2007. Here's what I wish I had known back then: Microsoft usually has funds dedicated to making sure you implement and use your licenses at each step up, often above and beyond what FastTrack provides

Always frustrates me to see a jump to E5 when they haven't even implemented the stuff from E3 yet I always push for E3, then add E5 Security or Compliance add-on, and then full E5 if you want the other stuff Most orgs take years to implement, just wasting money on licenses...

Our IT Department tries to be super helpful, listen to problems, talk to people at the level they are at, and more... and heaps of people still treat us like trash, blame us for every issue, and complain about us to others (including execs, etc.): IT can be such a thankless role.
