Keen Technologies, my new AGI company, has raised a $20M round, led by @natfriedman and @danielgross, with @patrickc, @tobi, @sequoia, @CapitalFactory, and Jim Keller participating.
Print Gocco came up during my screen printing phase, but then @acc_UX_Molly and I bought and failed to repair a vintage Riso and I never went back to it. This is fascinating work on how the Gocco works, and might be a path to easier home printing masters!
I documented some of my recent experiments in reverse-engineering the Print Gocco, a Japanese DIY printmaking tool from the 1970s. You can read about it here: nobadmemories.com/blog/2022/…
