I am guessing the threatened fiber cables would be the SEA-ME-WE 3, SEA-ME-WE 4, SEA-ME-WE 5, SEA-ME-WE 6, IMEWE, MENA and EIG. There are more cables but those would cut off themselves as well.

The initial strike caused a fire so whatever leaked out went up in smoke. Then there were a few days of no leaks. And now it seems like a new compartment has ruptured.
The VLCC GEM NO.2 IMO: 9735373 previously engulfed in fire seen today leaking its cargo.

I can only show you what the deck of Oldendorff should look like

Oldendofff was the receiver, LUCI B was probably the problem ship.
Something went terribly wrong with the STS transfer between the bulk carriers LUCIE B IMO: 9587166 and ANTONIE OLDENDORFF IMO: 9696917 in Sohar 8/9th. LUCIE B transited the 8th, shortly after she started a STS transfer. I wonder if LUCIE B was hit during her Hormuz transit and they tried to offload her but a fire got out of control ? Either way both ships were covered in fire suppressant and smoke rising from the ships on the 9th.

It should have been , unless someone filtered it out, the size of that is around 50-100 megawatts, FIRMS can pick up a large grassfire at 2 megawatts

It never added up, the footage is in daylight ( many hours ago ), that kind of flame would have been seen on NASA Firms long ago.

Basrah has 3M daily capacity, the number of VLCC loading consistenly for a long period exceeds that capacity by a lot. Some of the explanation until recently was that the storage tanks were full. Now the storage tanks are close to empty seen from sat images. In addition two of the 3 FSO departed as well. They are simply not exporting at the previous volumes anymore, so they fill up some compartments and depart to the next PG terminal.

Looks like the previously hit in the middle of the strait KAZIMAH III IMO: 9653408 got towed down to Fujairah
Replying to @live_ais_com
The large ship is dark so you only see the tug name
Replying to @live_ais_com
These ships are not anchored , they drift, you have to playback to the satpass exact time, corrent location wont be precise
Replying to @live_ais_com
Hard to tell which ship it is, the problem ship was towed there fairly quickly by several tugs. No ships were in that location prior to this incident.
Replying to @live_ais_com
DHALKUT is the ship to the right of the problem ship.
Replying to @BrettErickson28
This was probably a moving ship, not a very common area to anchor. Mostly LNG and VLCC lane.
The red dotted line follows the typical route of VLCC traffic bound for Ras Tannura. However the 51 NM distance aligns better with the usual route of the Qatar–Kuwait LNG shuttle. My guess is that this was an LNG carrier, but cant be sure.

UPDATE: Safe Travels "Lancers"! #IranWar
OK so this looks like a major draw-down! 6 B-1Bs have departed so far this morning, and 2-3 more are preparing to fly shortly!!
The fleet of bombers was at 12 aircraft last night, so this is a big deal!!
