More details about the USAF KC-135's migrating from Inmarsat to Iridium. govtribe.com/opportunity/fed… I plan to sink some solid time into getting my IRDM Node-RED stuff working much better in the next few weeks. @ipgphotography has been a huge help getting me on the right path.

Fairly clear comms from tanker & tank-ees around 200 miles distant at eastern end of track. Conversely, local traffic suffering some RF interference (bet it's my neighbour's flashing LED garden gnomes). Looks like a day of attempting to re-tune things :-/ #airband #avgeek

RAF Typhoon COBRA051 after prodding TARTAN39 has fuel probe stuck in the "out" position, RTB CGY to burn off 4 ton of fuel (I think he said) NOT declaring an emergency (he sounds fed up, I bet he wanted to be out playing tonight). I suggest thumping it with a hammer*

TUI Belgium flt JAF74L Embraer E195-E2 [OO-ETC] squawking 7700 diverting to Brussels (unknown the reason). First grab is my personal #PiAware - had them at ~240nm which isn't bad. Also *possibly* had a squeak on comms with French ATC ~70% cert on that w/ #AirSpy mini). #avgeek

Back again. Several hellish wks @ work, 6 days per, in conjunction with tech issues where VHF/UHF reception fell to <30% Crawled around attic chatting to spider fam, re-soldered connectors replaced a couple of cables & #ACARSDeco2 & #Dumpvdl2 & #Airband RX seems back to normal
