Thank you Prime Minister and my dear brother @CMShehbaz, for your warm and generous hospitality, as well as the kindness and friendship you have extended to me.
I am extremely grateful for the highly productive official talks we had today. We engaged in constructive discussions that lay a solid foundation for strengthening our bilateral ties, as we celebrate 60 years of formal diplomatic relations.
We reviewed our longstanding friendship and outlined joint priorities across key sectors, including trade and investment, health and education, environment and tourism, fisheries and agriculture, youth and sports, defence and security, training and capacity-building, as well as regional and multilateral cooperation.
I am pleased that we have agreed to take the bilateral trade between our countries from USD 13 million to USD 200 million within the next 2 years. I also thank you for the invaluable donation to our five million tree planting initiative.
It is a great honour for me and my country, to have been conferred the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Honoris Causa) in Politics and International Relations by the
International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI).
Today’s exchange of 20 MoUs opens a dynamic new chapter in Maldives-Pakistan relations. I look forward to taking these initiatives forward as we build a stronger, mutually beneficial partnership!

ރަސްމާލެ ހިއްކަން ގާތްގަނޑަކަށް ހަރަދުވަނީ 700 މިލިއަން ޑޮލަރު. އެ މަޝްރޫއު ފެށި އިރުވެސް ކެބިނެޓުގައި އިންނެވި ބޭފުޅަކަށް މިވަރު ނޭނގުމަކީ ދެރަ ކަމެއް. އެތައް ފަހަރެއްގެ މަތިން ސަރުކާރުން ވަނީ މި މައުލޫމާތު އާންމުކޮށްފަ.
ރާއްޖޭގެ އެއްވެސް ފަޅެއް، ނޫނީ ރަށެއް ވަކިން އަގުމަގެއް ނުކުރޭ. ފަތުރުވެރިކަމާ ބެހޭ ޤާނޫނާއި ގަވާއިދުތަކުން، ރާއްޖެގެ އެކި ހިސާބުތައް ފަތުރުވެރިކަމަށް ދޫކުރާ އަގުތަކެއް ކަނޑައެޅިފަހުރޭ. ސަރުކާރުން ރަށްތަކާ ފަޅުތައް ދޫކުރަނީ އެ ރޭޓުތަކުގަ.
ކޮންމެ އިންވެސްޓްމެންޓަކުން އަޕްފްރޮންޓް ޕޭއިމެންޓެއް ލިބޭކަށް ނުޖެހޭ. އެކި އިންވެސްޓްމެންޓްތަކުގެ ނަފާ ކުރާނީ އެކިގޮތަށް. މި މަޝްރޫއުގައި ދައުލަތަށް، ރައްޔިތުންނަށް، ވަގުތުން ވަގުތަށް ލިބޭނެ އެންމެ ބޮޑު މަންފާއަކީ 5000 ހައުސިން ޔުނިޓު. އެއީ 500 މިލިއަނެއްހާ ޑޮލަރު.
މި ދަނޑިވަޅުގައި ސޯޝަލް ހައުސިންއަށް ބޭރުގެ އެއްވެސް ފަރާތަކުން ލޯނު ނުލިބޭއިރު 5000 ހައުސިން އަކީ މިފަދަ މަޝްރޫއއެއްގެ “އަޕްފްރޮންޓް” ޕޭއިމެންޓަކަށް ކުޑަ އަދަދެއް ނޫން. މީގެ އިތުރުން ހައުސިން ސްޓޮކް އިތުރުވުމުން ލިބޭނެ އިޤްތިސާދީ މަންފާ އަދި މިއަށްވުރެވެސް އިތުރުވާނެ.
ރާއްޖޭގެ ޤާނޫނުތައް އޮންނަ ގޮތުން ބިމުގެ މިލްކުވެރިކަން ދާއިމަށް ދޫކޮށްލުމަކީ ކުރެވޭނެ ކަމެއް ނޫން. މަނިކުފާނު މަޖިލީސް މެމްބަރަކަށް ހުންނެވިއިރު މަނިކުފާނު ނިސްބަތްވާ އަތޮޅު ފާފުއަތޮޅުގެ މިލްކުވެރިކަން ބޭރު ބަޔަކަށް ދޭން މަނިކުފާނުގެ ވޯޓާއެކު ފާސްކުރި ޤާނޫނު މިހާރު ވަނީ އުވާލާފަ.
މަނިކުފާނުގެ ސުވާލުތަކަށް ޖަވާބު ލިބުނު ކަމަށް އުންމީދުކުރަން. ގައުމަށް ފައިދާހުރި މަޝްރޫއުތަކަށް، ސަރުކާރުގަ ހުއްޓަސް، ނެތަސް ތާއީދުކުރަންވާނެ. ކުރިން ހުންނެވި މަގާމުގައި ހުންނެވި ނަމަ މަނިކުފާނު ތި މޭރުމުން ތިވާހަކަ ނުދައްކަވާނެކަން ޔަގީން.
ރާއްޖެއަށް ބޮޑެތި އިންވެސްޓްމަންޓްތައް ނުގެނެސް ތަރައްޤިގެ ދުވެލީގައި ރާއްޖެ ކުރިއަރައި ދިއުމަކީ ނާދިރުކަމެއް. އެފަދަ ޕްރޮޖެކްޓްތައް، ރާއްޖޭގެ ރައްޔިތުން އެދޭ ގޮތަށް، ހާމަކަން ބޮޑު ގޮތެއްގައި ތަންފީޒު ވުމަކީ ކޮރަޕްޝަނާއި ފަސާދައިން ދުރުވެ، ޕްރޮޖެކްޓް ކާމިޔާބު ވުމަށް އެޅޭނެ މުހިންމު ފިޔަވަޅެއް. ޢާންމުވެފައިވާ މަޢޫލޫމާތު ތަކަށް ބަލާއިރު ރަސްމާލެ ޕްރޮޖެކްޓަކީވެސް އާދަޔާ ޚިލާފަށް ބޮޑު މަޝްރޫޢުއެއް.
ނަމަވެސް، ރަސްމާލޭގެ އިންވެސްޓްމަންޓްއާ ގުޅޭގޮތުން ރައްޔިތުންގެ މެދުގައި ވަރަށް ބޮޑެތި އަދި ޙައްސާސް ކަންބޮޑުވުންތަކެއް އެބަހުރި. އަޅުގަނޑު ދެކޭ ގޮތުގައި، ގައުމާ ރައްޔިތުންގެ ޙައްޤުތައް ޙިމާޔަތްކޮށްދޭން އައްޔަންކޮށްފައި ތިބި ވެރިންގެ ޙައިސިއްޔަތުން ސަރުކާރުން ކުރަންވީ ކަމަކީ، އެ ކަންބޮޑުވުންތަކަށް ޙައްލުތަކެއް ލިބޭނެފަދަ ޖަވާބުތަކެއް ރައްޔިތުންނަށް ދިނުން. އެގޮތުން:
1. ރަސްމާލެ ހިއްކުމަށް މިހާތަނަށް ދައުލަތުން ޚަރަދުކޮށްފައިވަނީ ކިހާ މިންވަރެއްތޯ؟
2. ރަސްމާލޭގެ ބިމާއި ވަށައިގެންވާ ފަޅުގެ އަގުމަގު ކުރެވިފައިވޭތޯ؟ އަދި އެއީ ކިހާވަރެއްތޯ؟
3. އިންވެސްޓްމަންޓުން އަޕްފުރަންޓް ޕެއިމަންޓްގެ ގޮތުގައި އެއްވެސް އެއްޗެއް ލިބޭތޯ؟ އަދި އެއީ ކިހާ މިންވަރެއްތޯ؟
4. އިންވެސްޓް ކުރާ ފަރާތާއި ސަރުކާރުގެ ބައެއް ވެރިންގެ ޢަދަދުތަކުގައި ބޮޑެތި ފަރަގުތަކެއް އެބަހުރި. އެހެންކަމުން، ރާއްޖޭގެ ޤާނޫނީ އޮނިގަނޑުގެ ތެރެއިން ޓެކްސްގެ ގޮތުގައި ލިބޭނެ ކަމަށް ލަފާކުރާ އާމްދަނީ އަކީ ކޮބާތޯ؟ އަދި ވިޔަފާރީގެ ޓެކްސް ނުހިމަނާ، ޕްރޮޖެކްޓްގެ ތެރެއިން ދައުލަތަށް/ ރައްޔިތުންނަށް ލިބެނީ ކޯއްޗެއްތޯ އަދި ކިހާ މުއްދަތެއްގެ ތެރޭގައިތޯ؟
5. ބިމުގެ މިލްކްވެރިކަން ދޫކުރަނީ ދާއިމަށްތޯ؟ ބިމުގެ މިލްވެރިކަން ބަދަލުވާ ކޮންމެ ފަހަރަކު، 99 އަހަރު އަލަށް ފެށޭތޯ؟
6. 5000 ހައުސިން ޔުނިޓް ބިނާކުރަނީ ދައުލަތަށް ލިބޭ ފައިސާއިންތޯ ނުވަތަ ނޫންތޯ؟
7. މި އިންވެސްޓްމަންޓްގެ ނަތީޖާއެއްގެ ގޮތުން، ދައުލަތުގެ/ ރައްޔިތުންގެ އެއްވެސް ޙައްގެއް ގެއްލޭތޯ؟

I am pleased to announce that Moody’s Ratings have announced their rating upgrade of the Maldives’ Sovereign Credit rating from “Caa2” to “Caa1”.
This is a reflection of the effective policies implemented by the Government under the leadership of HE President Dr @MMuizzu.
The Ministry of Finance and Public Enterprises remains committed to protecting the vulnerable, and safeguarding the macroeconomic stability of the Maldives, even during this period of global uncertainty.
Moody’s Ratings has upgraded the Maldives’ Sovereign Credit Rating from “Caa2” to “Caa1” with a stable outlook. The agency cited the successful repayment and refinancing of significant debt obligations maturing this year, along with improved external buffers, resulting from the Government’s coordinated efforts as the rationale for this rating upgrade.

ދިވެހި ޒުވާނުންގެ ކުރިމަގު ބައްޓަންކޮށް އުޖާލާކޮށް ދިނުމުގެ މުޅިން އާ ރާސްތާއެއް ފަހިކޮށްދިނުމުގެ ނިޔަތާއި އުންމީދުން ފުރިގެންވި ޢަޒުމާއެކު 01 އޮކްޓޫބަރު 2025 ގައި މި ސަރުކާރުން ފެށި ދިވެހި ވަޠަނީ ޚިދުމަތަށް މިއަދަށް މިވަނީ 1 އަހަރު ފުރިފައި. މާތް ﷲ އަށް ޙަމްދު ކުރާ ޙާލު، މި މުނާސަބާގައި، ދިވެހި ވަޠަނީ ޚިދުމަތުގެ ތަމްރީނުތައް ފުރިހަމަކުރި ޒުވާނުންނަށާއި ޢާއިލާތަކަށް ތަހުނިޔާ ދަންނަވަން. އަދި، ދިވެހި ވަޠަނީ ޚިދުމަތުގެ ކާމިޔާބު ޙަރަކާތް ކުރިއަށް ގެންދިއުމުގައި ޝާމިލުވާ ހުރިހާ ފަރާތްތަކަށް ޙައްޤު ޝުކުރު އަދާކުރަން.
ދިވެހި ވަޠަނީ ޚިދުމަތުގެ ތެރެއިން ކޮންމެ އަހަރަކު އެއްހާސް ޒުވާނުން ތަމްރީނު ކުރުމަށް ސަރުކާރުން ކަނޑައެޅި ލަނޑުދަނޑި ފުރަތަމަ އަހަރުވެސް މި ވަނީ ޙާޞިލް ކުރެވިފައި. މި ފާއިތުވެދިޔަ އެއް އަހަރު ވެގެންދިޔައީ، ޒުވާނުންނަށްޓަކައި، ދިވެހި ވަޠަނީ ޚިދުމަތުގެ ތެރެއިން ކާމިޔާބު އަދި އުފެއްދުންތެރި މަސައްކަތްތަކެއް ކޮށްދެވުނު 1 އަހަރަށް. ނޭޝަނަލް ސަރވިސް އިނީޝަލް ޓްރޭނިންގ ގެ ތެރެއިން 1028 ދިވެހި ޒުވާނުން ތަމްރީނު ކުރެވުނުއިރު، ނޭޝަނަލް ސަރވިސް ސްކިލް ޓްރޭނިންގ ޕްރޮގްރާމުން 136 ޒުވާނުން ވަނީ ތަމްރީނު ކުރެވިފައި.
މާތް ﷲ ގެ ހެޔޮ ރަޙުމަތާއެކު ދިވެހި ވަޠަނީ ޚިދުމަތުގެ ކުރިމަގު ފެންނަނީ ވަރަށް އުޖާލާކޮށް. އިރާދަ ކުރެއްވިއްޔާ، ނޭޝަނަލް ސަރވިސްގެ ތެރެއަށް ފަންނީ އިތުރު ދާއިރާތައް ތަޢާރަފްކޮށް، ނޭޝަނަލް ސަރވިސްގެ އިންޓަރންޝިޕް ޕްރޮގްރާމްތައްވެސް ތަޢާރަފްކުރެވޭނެ. އަދި، ނޭޝަނަލް ސަރވިސްގެ ތަމްރީނުތައް ފުރިހަމަކުރާ ޒުވާނުންނަށް ވަޒީފާގެ ފުރުޞަތުތައް ފަހިކޮށްދިނުމަށް ކުރާ މަސައްކަތުގައި ނޭޝަނަލް ކެރިއަރ ސަރވިސްގެ ދައުރު ފުޅާކުރުމަކީވެސް ސަރުކާރުގެ އަމާޒެއް.
