Math time.
Today I heard an interesting talk by Kenji Nakanishi, based on his joint work with Wang Baoxiang. While it is technically a talk in PDEs, it went in a direction that is almost entirely orthogonal to usual research in the field.

Increased traffic volume near the @appstate campus could result in delays between 8am & 6pm, Aug 16-19, as students return to the residence halls. We recommend alternate routes, if possible, for motorists. @WataugaOnline @WataugaDemocrat @TheAppalachian

Happy Pi Day! Today we celebrate math! Pi (Greek letter "π") is the symbol used to represent a constant — the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter — which is approximately 3.14159. What kind of pie you will eat in honor of Pi Day – apple, chocolate or pizza pie?
