Nigeria has the resources to become a stronger agricultural and agro-export powerhouse. With better infrastructure, financing, processing, and market access, our farmers and exporters can create jobs and earn more foreign exchange. From farm to global market. #Tinubu2027 – at Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria

The cost of living is still a serious concern for Nigerians. Supporting Tinubu does not mean ignoring that reality. It means believing the country should build on reforms while demanding better results for ordinary people. Renewed Hope must become renewed prosperity. #Tinubu2027 – at Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria

FINAL UPDATE: I have spoken with the lady. She is safe. Her mobile phone and international passport were held by Customs who were trying to clarify some issues. She was unable to reach anyone while the process was ongoing. However, she has been cleared and released, and has possession of her properties. She has contacted her family, too. She assured me that she is safe, and she appreciates everyone who showed concern for her safety. I would like to thank a dear Nigerian, @YusufAdesoga, who collaborated wot me and, at great inconvenience, visited all security agencies in Doha, and eventually tracked the lady to where she was found today. Mr. Yusuf is exemplary, and I appreciate his effort. I must also acknowledge the lady's brother, Jibo, for sounding the alarm bell when his sister went incommunicado. He refused to back down, and his effort got millions of Nigerians united in an effort to find his sister. Thanks to everybody for the kind words of support and encouragement. Thanks for uniting in a moment such as this. With her direct assurance that she is safe, I now consider this case closed from my end.

Borrowing money to sell petrol below its real cost is not economic development; it is postponing a bigger crisis. All thanks to @officialABAT for being a visionary leader #RenewedHope #Tinubu2027 – at Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria

The question is not whether fuel prices increased, they did. The question is whether Nigeria could continue spending trillions every year subsidising consumption while borrowing for infrastructure, education and healthcare. #RenewedHope #Tinubu2027 – at Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria

It appears former Vice President Atiku Abubakar now wakes up everyday and just look for something to say to make headline. And it doesn't matter whether he speaks to facts and reality as long as he can make the news. His latest offering is that he wants to open borders that are not closed. How do you open what is not closed?

A little clarification is needed here. Zacch Adedeji’s nomination to the APC Presidential Campaign Council as Deputy Director of Fundraising does not mean taxpayers’ money will be used to fund the campaign. Fundraising and tax collection are two different things. Zacch has been involved in fundraising and financial management within the APC long before he became Chairman of the Nigeria Revenue Service. So, this is not something he suddenly started because of his current position. The figures also speak for themselves. NRS tax collection reached ₦28.3 trillion in 2025, above its ₦25.2 trillion target. In the first half of 2026, it collected about ₦21.6 trillion, showing strong growth in revenue collection. So, where is the evidence that tax money is being diverted? Asking questions is fine, but jumping to conclusions without facts is not. Some of the claims being pushed are simply mischievous and, unfortunately, many people are accepting them without checking the facts. Let us understand the difference between raising money for a political campaign and collecting taxes for government. They are not the same thing. Facts should always come before outrage.
