The guilty party in question is the government of the United States as an institution, not individual descendants of slave owners. The government has paid reparations before, and it didn’t need to make a special new tax on innocent people to fund them.
As a black man, I’m not impressed with the victim mentality in 2026.
No one today owes me anything.
No one today owned slaves.
Not every black American is a direct descendant of slaves.
Not every white American are direct descendants to slave owners.
Not every slave was stolen by white people, but was also sold by our very own.
Christ died so I can change, others can change, and for us to forgive and be forgiven. Blaming where a group of people are today because of people you can’t even name, instead of focusing on how to better internal cultural habits, is lazy.
We can acknowledge the past without allowing it to still cripple us.
Take the chains off already brotha! You’re free.
Someone get this racist boomer his John Denver cassette tapes so he can shut up

If you really want to get to the heart of the problem, you might ask this: How have we devolved from our Puritan heritage into a depraved culture where ghetto black "baby daddy" garbage rap is ALL that LDS youth listen to? It's an inferior culture, and we've become lazy enough to indulge.
WORTHINESS MEANS SOMETHING
Immodest teenie-boppers with whore mothers and weak fathers should not be serving missions.
But hey, its ok! You can just go on a mission. Apparently anyone can now. All you have to do is turn 18 and pretend you're worthy to represent God. You can even pretend you believe. The bar was raised for Elders but not for you sisters. Nothing you do is ever wrong👍🏻.
Either way, as you attempt to preach, you will realize how weak your testimony is. You'll begin to feel uncomfortable lying to people. Your pride will shift the blame away from you and onto the Church for putting you in a "stressful/ abusive" situation (you certainly are not accountable).
In due course, you'll actually become converted to something but it won't be the Gospel. It will be to Secularism.
So obviously, the next step is to leave the Church. But you'll keep pretending the problem was the Church instead of the fact that you were never worthy to be there in the first place.
The rest of your life will be a hole. You'll start a new mission preaching Secularism. You'll recruit others to your new religion as you all spiral slowly into a hellish state of finally being able to drink coffee.

We keep calling sisters who haven’t done the work of becoming converted. They aren't showing signs of humility. They arent repenting. We just ship them out and then we’re shocked when they turn against us.
Worthiness means something.
A mission is not a TikTok trend.
I think putting an earring in your sleeve to stab you goes beyond passive aggression. That’s just aggression
Met a very passive aggressive passenger on @delta today. Immediately angry about my using the armrest before takeoff.
She installed an earring on her sleeve to poke me. I didn’t mind till the turbulence when it stabbed me.
I calmly asked her to remove it, she wouldn’t, and told me I was taking up too much of my seat cause I’m a man. 🥵
This legal? Also, how do people get like this?
Once again, modesty is a women-only commandment in this guy’s mind, and he could not give any less of a shit about men’s modesty, men’s lust, or men’s accountability for their own personal problems. It’s “control women” all the way down
The Church removed it's clearly stated modesty standards from the handbook. Therefore the women are not following the standards. Why? Because, they have zero standard to follow.
The new guide, "ask yourself", "ask your parents".
A principle without any concrete standard is invisible. A young woman who has never been taught that covering the shoulders or avoiding short shorts is part of honoring her body has no reason to arrive at that conclusion on her own. “Am I honoring my body?” is not self-explanatory. Neither is “don’t draw inappropriate attention.” Those phrases only make sense against a background of shared examples, prior teaching, or clear lines. Once those are gone, the principle no longer has content that can be recognized, taught, or followed consistently.
Parents are told to give counsel, but parents are also operating without the old standards. Many of them grew up with explicit guidelines and still struggle to articulate why certain styles are problems while younger parents never had them at all. The result is that large numbers of women and girls have no operational standard left. Thry only have a vague invitation to feel something and ask someone who may not know either.
Other principles in the Church still have clear standards attached to them for a reason. The Word of Wisdom names specific substances. The Law of Chastity draws bright lines. Modesty used to as well. Removing the standards while claiming the principle remains does not preserve the principle. It makes it unlearnable for the next generation!
After all, the 2011 edition stated, "The fashions of the world will change, but the Lord’s standards will not change."
It’s actually mind blowing how republicans still trot out this talking point while actively supporting Trump

“You’re judging me by saying I should stop judging people” is Reddit-tier sidestepping, because you cannot defend your position and won’t even attempt to.

"Look at Kimball, judging people. How wrong of him. How right I am to point this out and judge him. I am more righteous than Kimball."
The basic message of your tweet.
(You're a hypocrite)
Wanting to look cute and wanting to be sexually attractive are two very different things, Brad. Women aren’t wearing workout clothes to get you aroused. You just have a serious personal problem

When does men’s sexual signaling go beyond moderation? These guys will wring their hands over women showing their midriff or too much thigh and then say absolutely nothing about any male immodesty whatsoever.
Is heaven really heaven if it’s just a repeat of earth? I would hope that if heaven is something to strive for it’s a bit different from regular mortality
If God exists, which afterlife makes sense based on the degree of intelligence and emotions that we have?
A: Eternal passive bliss. You just stare at God’s glory forever in a state of perfect, unchanging awe with a dumb stare on your face.
B: Sealed to your family forever. You become like God, create worlds, birth spirit children, and keep progressing with your loved ones for eternity.
I like how he adds in “and men” as if he cares about men’s modesty

Why don’t we actually apply this principle and publicly torture people, then execute them in the slowest, most cruel and unusual ways we can possibly think of?
I am getting lots of incoming questions about the public execution of Nidal Hasan, mostly because I have been outspoken on wanting public executions for over a decade.
My position is simple: Executions should be public and brutal, not private and medicalized. They are the ultimate example of the state's monopoly on violence, and the only way to keep that from running out of control is to confront voters with the trade they have made every single time, that they might have appropiate confidence or revulsion in the institution.
This is not new thinking. George Washington thought the same. The way we have shifted from hanging to firing squads to doctors quietly injecting chemicals that send our worst gently off to sleep is awful and dystopian, a total short-circuiting of important feedback mechanisms. It makes needless executions more likely, not less so. People who demean this as barbaric or yucky miss the whole point. It doesn't somehow become torture or inhumane (as the UN is suddenly claiming) just because we decline to hide the act behind a curtain.
And then there are those who suggest any revel in the death of those who truly deserve it is an indicator of a broken or diseased mind. To the contrary. It is normal, good, and aligned with our natural and national order. That it has not been done here in 60 years is an indictment in and of itself.
And that is without even getting into the fact that men were not hung for stealing horse, but that horses may not be stolen.
"I would to God that one of the most attrocious in each State was hung in Gibbets, up on a gallows five times as high as the one prepared by Haman. No punishment, in my opinion, is too great for the Man, who can build his greatness upon his Country’s ruin."
- George Washington, 1778
There is not a doubt in my mind that if there was social media around the woman taken in adultery, Kimball Call would be in her comment sections casting digital stones and claiming Jesus likes it

Getting divorced hurts children. Declaring it on social media makes it public.
