Met a very passive aggressive passenger on @delta today. Immediately angry about my using the armrest before takeoff.
She installed an earring on her sleeve to poke me. I didn’t mind till the turbulence when it stabbed me.
I calmly asked her to remove it, she wouldn’t, and told me I was taking up too much of my seat cause I’m a man. 🥵
This legal? Also, how do people get like this?
When we landed, I notified the flight attendant who leaned over to observe the spike. She did not tell the woman to remove the earring.
The attendant asked me to wait at the gate, but I had to get to work and did not want to wait around with the passive aggressor.
I'm not trying to report or sue anyone. I wouldn't be posting about this if the attendant had just done her job.
Time to fly @united.
Exciting, but the *real* Prescription Marketplace API docs live here: photonhealth.com/docs
Build your own EMR. Achieve spiritual enlightenment.
Even just a few years ago it would still have been considered totally not worthwhile to build your own EHR
But it's been interesting to see several early stage companies making the choice to build it in-house now.
A few reasons IMO:
1) Headless EHRs and primitives now exist (e.g. Medplum, Oystehr)
2) You need way less engineers to build and maintain it now
3) Companies are worried about the bottleneck existing EHRs pose when it comes to downstream development + implementing other 3rd party tools
Curious for people that made the choice to build in-house, why they went that route

you can now have @bot manager your care and speak to a clinician. We partnered with @flexpa and @photonhealth to make it a seamless and easy for your bot to
- get prescriptions
- speak with a clinician on your behalf
- analyze your claims and costs
- find in network providers
and so much more is coming soon! The agent era is coming!

We need Grok @bot to be able to integrate w healthcare data
the ultimate healthcare experience is:
> agent gets your data and biometrics
> agent studies medical literature on what you need
> agent books your visits/labs/meds
> you get better
> repeat
Imagine if every Waymo still had to be owned and legally operated by a human who held the liability.
That’s roughly where AI healthcare is headed.
HIPAA, medical licensure, and other rules keep providers and medical groups in the legal control layer for data, decisions, and liability.
As AI does more of the actual treatment, the doctor starts to look less like the driver and more like the registered owner of the car.
Unless the law changes, data and clinical liability remain the scarce resources in AI care.
Just like before.
