Just saw this on instagram, apparently Joe Doering is fighting a brain tumor for the third time. Horrible news, as he's been fighting cancer for ten years now.
The gofundme's been online since September but apparently it's still relevant, here's the link: gofundme.com/f/help-joe-pin-…

Really nice to read lovely tributes to Ian Dignam from a load of good people. Hope everyone's doing ok processing the news. Just an awful tragedy. I'm glad he got to do so many things he clearly enjoyed in his time here.

absolutely gobsmacked. we used to have a running joke that wherever you went in the wrestling world, diggers would show up. even randomly bumped into him at a beer festival! he was a lovely man and always a joy to be around. horrible horrible news. heartbroken for his family.
Unfortunately I have some sad news to share with the Irish/UK/European graps community
Ian Dignam has unfortunately passed away
Due to the disparate nature of social media his family have asked me to pass on the news

Ah this is awful news, Ian was a lovely fella and I always enjoyed talking to him when we used to bump into each other at the wrestling.

Awful news to get today. Sad to have missed it previously. Ian was a gent and I got to hang out with him again a few times this year which was always harder in a "post" wrestling world.
I'll think of him every Birthday as we always used to share it over Carat weekend 💚

Awful sad news. Ian was always a constant at every show I've been to in the continent. The chill character that you always needed in a group. Incredibly friendly, and present in every wrestling rabbit hole conversation that was had in various places. Rest easy, pal.

Absolutely awful news - Ian was a lovely lad whenever I ran into him (usually in Germany). He's going to be a big miss on these weekenders, that's for damn sure.
Another unfortunate reminder to always take the photos.

Today marks 10 years since I began covering Dragongate for @voiceswrestling. Along the way, I've made a number of great friends, covered a lot of great shows, and enjoyed a lot of DISCOURSE.
Here's a collection of my favorite things that I've written for VOW:
The April 18th Arena Mexico main (Los Guerreros vs. Sky Team & Blue Panther) was as close to a perfect lucha libre experience as it gets. Absolutely beautiful professional wrestling.
This happened the same day as Dragongate delivered a perfect DG trios match in Vegas. Go figure
watching the CMLL trios just now has inspired me to put together my top ten MOTY so far (I hadn't been tracking things like I normally would).
