Guess I should really get a social media presence prepared myself as a lifeboat, but I'm waiting until I can get my new computer setup and run it from there.
So...uh...I'm MT1ST on Steam and Origin/EA Desktop?

Given recent events, it...yeah, seems like I'll have to resort to this.
Probably afk then for a few days even there though, as my desktop isn't entirely setup yet.

ALT a Venn diagram showing things that are actually slowing down development teams (constant reprioritizing, burnout, pointless meetings, technical debt, generating subtle devastating bugs) - and things that an AI coding assistant speeds up (generating subtle devastating bugs, googling boilerplate code). The intersection is generating subtle devastating bugs

The Twitter Files is a good lesson in how you can report out the goings on of any decent sized organization, and if you use the right tone, cite “documents,” and make it seem like you’re breaking news, you can make even the most mundane shit seem scandalous to the right audience.

i didn’t spend years of my life practicing to have people ask this but if they’ll assume i just use AI in the future ..🥲 I hadn’t even thought of the effects of people questioning artist’s hard work, as if the “did you draw this by hand or just on a computer?” wasn’t bad enough

Everybody brace yourselves for this BOMBSHELL REPORT on the SCANDALOUS SECRETS uncovered by my groundbreaking investigations. You will not believe this, but for several years, Twitter has - as a matter of company policy! - engaged in blatant content moderation.

This news will probably change everything forever, but the world needs to know: Not only did Twitter moderate content, but its moderation policies changed over the years. Not only that, but the policies were also vigorously debated within the company. Scandal!

Superman being ‘realistic’ doesn’t mean he’d be evil. it means he’d be a guest star on Sesame Street and appear in vaccine PSAs

Many staff still left there are immigrants who can’t just quit, because Twitter sponsors their visa. A factory owner who controls his workers’ papers and demands they work all day AND sleep at the plant is usually called a sweatshop boss and human trafficker.

For everyone who says "well at least the US healthcare system doesn't have waiting lists", if it takes you 10 years to have the money/insurance to cover something chronic, that's the equivalent of a 10 year waiting list

^^ This 110%.
In development GE007 defaulted to 00 Agent difficulty. That was how we always played it - day in, day out.
Nintendo QA said it was way too hard. We disagreed.
Their advice led to Agent mode which we thought was laughably easy and broke the game.
They were right.

Many video game industry workers are tired of the status quo, ready to leave behind a culture of sexism, harassment, and mismanagement. This is how the industry is unionizing, compiled into a 54-page zine we've been working on over the past year:
