How rivals want opposition players to treat Max Dowman because he’s ONLY SIXTEEN YEARS OLD

Tyne-Wear bubble match an “absolute disgrace”.
Sunderland and Newcastle United groups speak out against restrictions after police said last season's game "passed largely without incident".
The FSA is opposed to bubble matches and will support our members opposing the measures.

Newcastle’s answer to correcting the mistake of signing their number nine who wasn’t really a number nine with a number nine who isn’t really a number nine.
If we needed a striker, sign one. Feel for MFP the same as I did NW. Why sign players to play them out of position?

Newcastle went from relegation candidates to Champions League in one year. They spent a lot of money to transform that relegation squad into one that won the Carabao Cup and qualified for the Champions League twice in three years. They had no quality players to sell, it was a bad team, so…
They were forced to sell players they didn’t want to lose to comply with PSR rules, including their best academy player in Elliot Anderson for £35m as it was “pure profit.”
But it is the wages that really kill them. Newcastle can’t offer the same wages at the Big six with their ingrained financial advantage. SCR has baked this in,
So when they get an elite talent, they can’t keep hold of them. Hence Isak, Gordon, Tonali and Bruno all leaving in the space of 12 months. All but one of them went to a domestic rival.
Newcastle “competed” for a short period of time and then, like Aston Villa, they were forced to sell or players demanded to leave. And this process is now repeated every summer. Well run clubs like Brighton, Brentford and Bournemouth are perfect to keep the eco system running. They identify and develop players for the richer clubs to buy. It’s their business model and it’s pretty much the same business model #nufc have had to switch to now.
There has always been a food chain in football in my lifetime but that food chain is now enshrined by the financial rules
Unregulated spending is not what we need either. Nobody serious is saying that. No club should just be able to spend what they want based on the wealth of their owners, but the rules need to be looked at.
This isn’t a dig at @RorySmith either. He has raised another strand to the debate in his usual eloquent style. I’m just offering my view.
Replying to @RorySmith
Spurs and Villa and sort of Newcastle all prove that you can "compete." Villa went from the Championship to the CL in six years. That's amazing. They should be happy, and proud. And yes it's hard to win. It should be hard to win. That is the point.

At SJP some come in 10 minutes late, go for a HT pint on 35 minutes, come back 10 minutes late for 2nd half and then leave early. Do those people also need to be able to take drinks to seats? I enjoy a pint as good as the rest, this isn't needed #NUFC

Never forget the Premier League called an emergency meeting because we were linked in the paper with a loan move for Ruben Neves 😆 #Nufc

I won’t lie, call me spoilt, but I had thought that with a week to go till the Premier League kicks off, we may actually be linked to more than one of the four signings we need to compete at this level! You know considering we’ve made about 300m in sales.
Where is the money?

Nigerians will never understand football culture in this country.
They just don’t get that the majority here don’t support a team because they win.
They will never get their head around it; it’s why they don’t have a league of note of their own.
Honestly, I blame Bruno Guimarães for choosing Newcastle in the first place .
A player with that level of quality voluntarily went to a club that was fighting relegation and had one Carabao Cup to show for generations of existence.
Imagine having that much talent and thinking, Yeah, Newcastle is the one.
Bro really chose hard mode .
Arsenal are billion miles ahead of Newcastle in terms of stature, history, ambition and expectations. If it’s not the money, I genuinely don’t understand what a top player is doing there. At some point, Newcastle fans need to accept reality, your club is still a stepping stone for players who want to move to the big boys. The sooner you accept that, the easier life becomes. 😭😂

Never let them tell you that we aren’t their full world. That they don’t wake up thinking about us first then go to sleep thinking about us to top their day off.
Everything good they do (and there has been a lot recently) has to be compared to us in some way. It’s quite sad

One of the strongest hands we could of played to keep Bruno would of been having him come back to training with 4/5 quality signings so he could look around and think actually this project isn’t dead. We’ve given him ZERO reason to want to stay #nufc

Chelsea have spent thick end of £2bn on transfers in four years, huge wage bill, broken UEFA rules repeatedly, circumvented PL's w/internal sales, performed (relatively) abjectly on pitch, now dropping £117m on one player
It would be laughable if not so damaging to the game
Adam Smith retweeted
Did Arsenal just get “HIJACKED” or do these transfer guys only use that when it happens to Newcastle?
Either way it’s another example of a manager being the difference in getting a deal done!
Something our fans ignore when Newcastle fail to get players in. Managers matter!!!
