When the weed control doesn't go to plan, out come the big guns @garfordrobocrop hoe doing a great job. Using @jjmandson tungsten hoe blades, which are worth every penny, lasted me several years now.

There’s a bit of NFU naysaying flying around but I’ve just left an hour and half teams meeting from @NFUSugar with 570 growers on (1/3rd growers) called 24 hours ago
The collective strengthen and professionalism shown ought to curd any doubt that we are better working together
Over winter cover crops #SFI in prep for sugar beet seem to have done a job for us despite the late drilling due to the hot dry summer. @BBRO_Beet @BritishSugar

Soil sampling on a Wildfarmed milling wheat fields planted into strips. Heading back to run the samples through our microscope. Looking forward to the results.
After loosing the combine and helping a neighbour with a fast spreading field fire we have recognised that the appliances only hold 1500lts so we have brought an adaptor to refill the engines on site in remote locations where water isn't on tap for them @SuffolkFire @ECFRS 👍
Filling an old trench in this afternoon with the @Rhinoxbuckets land rake I love this attachment for leveling and grading dirt after ditching
So we lost our combine last night at 630 made a call to @CLAAS_Eastern for them to say they have a combine we can hire through there which we picked up at 11 this morning top work great service thank you.
Check out our 1500kg batch cover crop, companion crop mixing solution to speed things up and not involve 2 forklifts. Works well. youtube.com/shorts/6VqARJ6Uf…

Daryn Cole using JJMetcalfe 100mm spreader coulters doing a great job creating tilth while direct drilling a cover crop of Buck wheat, clover, linseed, peas and vetch. 8.5 kph at Griffin Farming in Suffolk
Conventional cultivation system left, strip tilled @Carresas, @KRM_Ltd right. Happy with the results again this year may just be time to do a whole field next season @BBRO_Beet

In March, we established (using a strip till!) rows of grasses, clovers, and other legumes. Last week we stripped in between the herbage rows to plant wheat. This is our final step to eliminate the need for synthetic fertilisers. More later this week.

Great to see my @Carresas @KRM_Ltd striptill flat out at work doing some great new things for the environment with Wildfarmed.
Brilliant demo from @Farmer_Nick at @WildKenHill of his strip drill for Wildfarmed. We look forward to seeing the strip mower in action later in the year.
Drilling Graham this morning ahead of more rain with @neverfinished got both @HORSCHUK drills going with @jjmandson 100mm coulters doing a great job straight in to OSR stubble.
