m-DAP naturally found in bacterial cell walls is not readily accessible by conventional solid phase methods. Instead, we used good old cysteine to build a readily accessible bioisostere and fooled bacteria into processing it!! @ChemicalBiology bit.ly/34qUVJp
Congratulations, Knut!
I am so thrilled that this is really happening: our lab is moving to @biozentrum! I can't wait to get started. Big thanks to everyone involved in Basel, CH, and in Marburg!
Congratulations @RJGilliard!
I am honored to be named a C&EN #Talented12 scholar! Thank you to @cenmag and the @AmerChemSociety for this tremendous recognition of @gilliardgroup science. I am grateful to nominators, evaluators, collaborators, and mentors. #maingroup #materials #energy #CENT12 #T12
