Africa bears some of the highest costs of a climate crisis it did not create. This year, the Africa Youth Climate Finance Fellowship (AYCFF), a flagship advocacy programme by Jacob’s Ladder Africa, responded by equipping young Africans to lead in an area that cuts across every green sector, climate finance. Over the course of nine months, 30 fellows from 18 different African countries participated in world-class training, developed grounded policy briefs, and engaged various stakeholders globally, amplifying youth perspectives across Africa’s climate finance discourse.
