If we don’t understand our loved one’s needs, we won’t support their purchases. If we don’t understand discrimination, we won’t support equality efforts. vimeo.com/469138748
What if we could use common shopping experiences to reveal people's blind spots (without them getting defensive), and help them see themselves in others (empathy), and see the best in others (positive regard)? vimeo.com/469138748
Great session! I think one way to reduce division and inequality is to gently show people their blind spots, show people how to understand and respect their loved ones, then expand perspectives in an ever-widening circle. vimeo.com/469138748

Couples have contact with one another, raise kids (team building), and go through crises, but can still divorce. None of these are guaranteed to increase understanding and respect. But we can use our own experiences to build empathy and positive regard. vimeo.com/469138748
