The Invoker is now available on the #DMsGuild. It is a highly customizable class for #dnd5e that I've been working on for a couple of years now. I hope you all enjoy it.
The text reads "The Invoker" at the top, and "Avatar. Binder. Oracle. Witch. Available now at the DMsGuild" at the bottom. In between, it says that this 100-page book includes: • 4 subclasses, including a full 5e update of the 3.5e Binder and vestiges • Dozens of new patrons • 90+ new invocations • New rules and options for familiars • Customization and conversion guidelines • Magic items! Feats! Spells! The image shows a spellcaster facing a dragon, possibly summoning it.

So we are still without power and water due to Helene, and we have no real update on when it will be restored. We're better off than many, though. Our house is still standing and we weren't hurt or anything. The cats are fine, if confused. The reptiles are mostly unhappy.

If you want to help out, now would be a great time to buy some of my stuff on the DMs Guild. dmsguild.com/browse.php?a... Alternatively, if you're going to need an editor soon (once I have reliable Internet), please consider me. Money is going to be extra tight here for a while.

I own and have played a bit of several Cortex games, and I find the system compelling, but I think there are things I'm just not getting. I think I'm going to try to check this out. I just wish someone was running Leverage... @jonrog1

My birthday is on Monday. If you'd like to celebrate my continued survival and you've purchased a copy of any of my books on the #DMsGuild, I'd love it if you'd leave a review. If you haven't, you're in luck as I'm marking down my latest release — The Invoker — through Oct 16.

Getting seen and your work acknowledged in the #ttrpg market is insanely difficult, especially when you're competing against companies and groups and nepotism. So for #followfriday I want to highlight a single individual: @MargoMods Here's some of their vibrant work:

Roll modifiers are annoying and slow. We change the die size, So you know IMMEDIATELY whether you succeeded Mana? Spell Slots? Stamina? Energy? We call it Effort, and anyone can use it to pull off EPIC team combos SAGAS is awesome. SAGAS is free. SAGAS is coming to Kickstarter

More and more we need to be thinking about how for a lot of people ‘theatre of the mind’ style TTRPG play is an accessibility issue.

It's baffling to me that some of y'all see stuff in your mind. You SEE it? The way your eyes see? I always thought "visualize" meant thinking of the words/ideas/feelings associated with a thing, not actual visuals. I am such a total 5 on this scale I didn't know 1-4 existed.

The last subclass in The Invoker is the Witch, who uses their familiar to mediate their pact with their patron. Witch familiars grow in power as the witch does and are customizable through invocations and feats. The Invoker is coming to the #DMsGuild tomorrow.
The text reads "The Invoker is coming." Below that, there is an image of three shadowy figures with glowing eyes standing among trees. Shadowy owls sit on the tree branches. At the bottom, four subclasses are listed: Avatar, Binder, Oracle, and Witch. "Witch" is highlighted.

The Oracle is an Invoker subclass that acts as an information gatherer and messenger for their patron. If you like the idea of precognition but think it should be represented by something more flavorful than just rerolls, you'll love the Oracle. Coming to the #DMsGuild this week.
The text reads "The Invoker is coming." Below that, there is an image of a spellcaster surrounded by motes of golden light and fingers wrapped with golden thread that extend down below the image, evocative of both the Fates and a puppeteer. At the bottom, four subclasses are listed: Avatar, Binder, Oracle, and Witch. "Oracle" is highlighted.

Next up is the Binder—an invoker subclass that makes temporary pacts with strange entities called vestiges (adapted from the 3.5 edition class). If you like the way wizards can prepare for anything, just wait until you meet the Binder. Coming to the #DMsGuild in just a few days.
The text reads "The Invoker is coming." Below that, there is an image of a spellcaster surrounded by a circle of light with magical sigils and ghostly spirits. Also skulls. At the bottom, four subclasses are listed: Avatar, Binder, Oracle, and Witch. "Binder" is highlighted.
