it is sad that such a model exists, without good safety mechanisms

yoooooo WTF 20 point jump from 2.5 to 2.6. Granted it has been like 6 months but god damn!
MiMo-V2.6-Pro debuts as the top open weights model on the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index (46). At $0.13 per Intelligence Index task, it lands on the Intelligence vs. Cost per Task Pareto frontier @Xiaomi has just released MiMo-V2.6-Pro, an open weights model with major advances in intelligence over its predecessor, MiMo-V2.5-Pro (Intelligence Index: 26). Despite the improvement, it retains the same attractive pricing at $0.435 per 1M input tokens (with a 99% cache-hit discount) and $0.87 per 1M output tokens. This makes MiMo-V2.6-Pro one of the most cost-efficient models to deploy. MiMo-V2.6-Pro is an MoE model with 1.02T total parameters and 42B active parameters. Stay tuned for additional analysis of the model. Check out MiMo-V2.6-Pro full benchmarking breakdown here: artificialanalysis.ai

Because only women's preferences matter. Men's preferences have no impact on the dating market. Read David Buss.

like i hear you. “asian girl wants to date white guy.” but none of you discuss yellow fever, militarism or orientalism either when posited the other side of “why do white men want asian wives.” why are women solely to blame for this dynamic!!

NAND demand will skyrocket. Not only do Chinese labs optimize for NAND due to costs. But smartphones (ex. Apple) also optimize for NAND, such as per request routing instead of per token routing. Much more power efficient. machinelearning.apple.com/re…
NAND is about to have its DRAM moment. Let me explain. In-memory parameter scaling is saturating because HBM capacity is hitting a wall where it's not being scaled as massively anymore. DeepSeek V4.1 Flash has 26% of its parameters on SSD. That's the new architecture. Storage is becoming part of the model. Within two years, most parameters in frontier models won't be in memory at all.

If astra was released 3 days later then Deepseek would’ve been the king of design—with just a flash model.
We benchmarked DeepSeek V4.1 Flash by @deepseek_ai . It reached 98% of GPT-6 Astra’s score at 1.4% of the cost on everyday design tasks based on user requests. Every model except Astra scored lower AND cost more. Are open models overtaking closed ones? Full results below ↘️

@thsottiaux @sama @OpenAI help usage did not reset I had Pro. It ended. I bought Plus. But it’s reusing the old Reset time. So I have 100% 5h but 0% weekly remaining on a brand new plan.

Is this supposed to be a flex?

this is just what happens if you care to control costs. americans can do this too.
What has happened to the price of Chinese goods over the last 10 years? An informal review of things i bought on Taobao in 2016 vs. their 2026 prices. 🧵 Exhibit A: 100px of single-use toothbrush kits. 2016 Price: 29.90 CNY (4.43 USD) 2026 Price: 26.90 CNY. -10%

> wants to kill deloitte > doesnt even know what deloitte does about as expected for an Asian with two White names
Introducing Billow (YC S26) We're killing Deloitte. Accounting is a $700B industry, but 80% of companies still do it by hand. Billow is an AI-native accounting firm that replaces humans with agents. We connect to your existing tools (NetSuite, QuickBooks, and 80+ other systems) and provide faster, cheaper accounting services. There is ZERO software for customers to use. Just integrate, and Billow closes your books. We're live with enterprise and public companies representing over $1B in value.

If I were the company on the right I would try to kill every company that is like the one on the left. This way, the company on the right can make trillions of dollars and then infect American politics with hundreds of billions of dollars to implement their vision of being the sole judge, jury and executioner of future progress.

let me introduce the toughest woman in open-source ai: the lady behind @MiniMax_AI literally went to the hospital for the launch of the m3 model. 😭 never look down on Chinese women. they might be as pretty as an influencer, or they may look small and plain - either way, they are making big contributions to the tech scene.

Lark/Feishu is highly disruptive. If you’ve ever used it, you’ll know
Ackman views $MSFT as having an "impossible to disrupt" position in enterprise software. The base Microsoft 365 package has 450M users at a very low cost per seat, roughly $200 per customer. It would be nearly impossible for an enterprise to replace these various components with 3P vendors, even at twice the price. Microsoft Copilot gives enterprise employees a secure way to access AI tools without putting the company at risk of extreme cloud computing bills or exposing proprietary data.

lmao the rose tinted glasses get everyone. “Hurr durr just pick the good startups” if I could do that I would just invest in them and get all the return without even having to put my labor and time in
Sometimes I wonder if joining a large company is actually riskier than joining a startup/starting your own company

Congrats! Brand new method where we can spend 1000x the tokens to adjust the temperature. 😂
A 21-YEAR-OLD FROM CHINA RUNS 300 AI AGENTS AT ONCE. THE PART THAT MATTERS ISN'T THE SPEED, IT'S THAT NONE OF THEM CAN LIE TO HIM he opens the dashboard and shows the swarm live, 300 Kimi K2.6 agents firing in parallel, then Opus 4.8 checking every single output against its source. this is not just a faster swarm. it is a loop that refuses to stop while anything is still wrong he pointed it at 100 EV-market companies. first pass: 12 failed. wrong revenue, dead citations, empty fields. second pass: 3 failed. third pass: zero this is not another agent demo. it is a system that catches its own mistakes before he reads a single row

I argue that Singaporeans don’t lack fortitude and belief in home teams. They lack belief, period. It’s a supremely capitalist, materialist city state in which money alone is the marker for everything. Life becomes a Veblen life. All the great founders are driven by a belief in something. Very similar to Oriental American striver culture
Singapore doesn’t lack capital, talent or infrastructure what it lacks is fortitude and belief in home teams hence why SG tend to end up as investoors and managers but never owners & inventors
