Omitting data to make your point only undermines it further.
The CDC reported 42,348 firearm deaths last year. Suicides accounted for 28,000 of them.
That leaves 14,383 homicides by firearm out of 341.8 million; That’s 4.2 deaths per 100,000.
Know what else has a death rate greater than 4.2/100k?
Almost everything.
Heart disease 155, cancer 140, accidents 55, stroke 40, respiratory disease 34,kidney/liver disease 13.
To claim that ‘America has a firearm problem’ based off of a single metric which includes self harm is incredibly misleading- and to call for the removal of a constitutional right based of a lie by omission even worse.

Are SpaceX's IPO Underwriters Betting Against Its Competitor, AST SpaceMobile ($ASTS)?
There is a serious question that deserves more attention from investors.
Several major financial institutions involved in SpaceX's June 2026 IPO also disclosed substantial put option positions in AST SpaceMobile ($ASTS), a competitor in the direct-to-device satellite communications market.
SpaceX IPO Book-Running Managers:
- Goldman Sachs
- Morgan Stanley
- BofA Securities
- Citigroup
- JPMorgan
- Barclays
- Deutsche Bank Securities
- RBC Capital Markets
- UBS Investment Bank
- Wells Fargo Securities
ASTS Put Positions Disclosed in Q2 2026 (Underlying Share Equivalents):
Institution| ASTS Put Exposure
Goldman Sachs:3,976,300 shares
Citigroup: 1,850,000 shares
Barclays|:1,769,200 shares
UBS: 20,000 shares
Goldman Sachs is particularly interesting.
The firm played a major role in SpaceX's IPO and also served as administrative agent for SpaceX's $20 billion bridge loan facility.
Meanwhile, Goldman Sachs reported ASTS put positions equivalent to approximately 3.98 million underlying shares, compared with only 94,700 shares of disclosed call exposure.
This raises several important questions:
1. Why are multiple SpaceX IPO underwriters holding bearish options exposure to ASTS?
2. Are these positions independent trading strategies, client hedges, or directional bets against ASTS?
3. Do these institutions have financial incentives that deserve closer scrutiny?
4. Could any conflicts of interest exist between their SpaceX-related business and their ASTS trading activities?
To be clear: Holding put options is not the same as directly short-selling shares. These filings do not establish net bearish exposure, market manipulation, collusion, or wrongdoing.
However, the overlap between SpaceX's financial partners and institutions holding substantial ASTS put positions deserves transparency.
Investors deserve to know whether these positions are ordinary hedging activities or part of broader directional strategies.
I'm not alleging a conspiracy. I'm asking for transparency.

$ASTS Had someone reach out through DM's asking about the Grain/SpaceX deal. Here's what I think, for what it's worth:
On the surface it seems like a bad outcome for ASTS given all the speculation of us having a leasing deal with them, however, I think it actually validates the D2D market breadth with SpaceX/Starlink going all in, and it forces a strategic lever for the MNO's across the world to partner with ASTS which I believe drastically increases our value. Who else are they going to partner with? Think about musical chairs. How valuable does that last chair become when the music stops? The music has stopped for the MNO's and they now have to choose a partner other than Starlink. We'll see how long it takes for the market to figure that out (or for it to point out that I'm an idiot and have no idea what I'm talking about!) 😄
If you want your clothes to last longer than 6 months and don’t want to walk around looking disheveled, laundry is actually a Herculean task and truly the most annoying part of running a house. It is constantly pilling up, you are forever drowning in it, just when you get through a load there’s now two more waiting for you somehow. If men were responsible for properly doing the laundry for an entire household they’d abandon their families en masse.
Guy spends untold amount of $ on what could simply be a calorie deficit… peptides in a nutshell
Replying to @colin_gladman
Serious question, did you leave out the cost of the peptides on purpose? Objectively your body composition is of little improvement. You lost fat but didn’t gain muscle or any discernible benefits muscular wise with the peptides. The equivalent of a strict calorie deficit diet is what would be achieved

BlueBirds 8, 9, and 10 are now fully deployed to their full size, each the world's largest communications arrays operating in Low Earth Orbit.
We invented a new way to design, manufacture at scale, deploy, and fly lightweight composite stackable architecture combined, with the world's largest and most advanced direct- to-device and radar phased-array with the ability to launch them in groups of 3, 5, 6, or 8 on a single launch.
Our BlueBird platform brings together high-performance space-based cellular broadband with peak data rates approaching 200 Mbps, space AI edge computing, and many mission-critical government applications, all on one platform where the largest-ever size matters!
BlueBirds 11, 12 and 13 are already at the Cape preparing for their imminent launch. BlueBirds 14, 15 and 16 are right behind them. Production has already moved through satellite 42.
All of this is happening in Texas. 🤠🇺🇸📶🌎📱

Compare Calvin Coolidge on America’s 150th anniversary:
“It is often asserted that the world has made a great deal of progress since 1776, that we have had new thoughts and new experiences which have given us a great advance over the people of that day, and that we may therefore very well discard their conclusions for something more modern. But that reasoning can not be applied to this great charter. If all men are created equal, that is final. If they are endowed with inalienable rights, that is final. If governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed, that is final. No advance, no progress can be made beyond these propositions. If anyone wishes to deny their truth or their soundness, the only direction in which he can proceed historically is not forward, but backward toward the time when there was no equality, no rights of the individual, no rule of the people. Those who wish to proceed in that direction can not lay claim to progress. They are reactionary. Their ideas are not more modern, but more ancient, than those of the Revolutionary fathers."

Show us your thermostat, commie
New York: it's hot out there, and the power grid is working overtime to keep us cool.
Set your AC to 78 degrees, turn off lights/electronics you're not using, and unplug what you can.
Our City is doing its part too: maintaining the 78 degrees rule in our buildings, dimming/turning off our lights during peak electricity demand, asking private partners to do the same, and powering down non-essential equipment.
A stable grid means the AC stays on, and lives are saved. Let's ease demand — and get through the heat — together.
