This is the Prepper Matrix. I find it super useful to help me think about all areas of preparation. It can be a little overwhelming, but start with what seems manageable and do a little at a time.
If nothing else it gives you a lot to think about.

Just when I thought I was done crying…
Listen to Pat correct misinformation about Joseph Smith… talk about the Book of Mormon and a little bit about why we journeyed to Utah…
Y’all… when I tell you that President Oaks is bringing the Lord’s mission back to BYU… 🙌🏻💙😭
We were standing out there and I got hit in the calf by The Book of Mormon 😂😂
That was such an incredible moment out there in Provo #PMSLive
There will be no beans in my chili. There will be pecan shell and cherry wood smoked oxtail, brisket and 5 kinds of chilies though. I have to make enough for our family, the Dia de los Muertes at my daughter's school and the chili cookoff.
I guess that's is why I have this 6 gallon stock pot. That first fall chili really hits.
When grandma is this old it's time to let her rest. Maybe the kids can help in the kitchen and someone can make her a nice cup of hot chocolate instead while she puts her feet up and watches her shows.
I've been a butcher. 🤷It's all just bones and meat once you cook it. People get so divorced from where their meat comes from, I get it, but it's good to be reminded once in a while.
Plus, people felt the same way about brisket just a few years ago, it was a garbage cut that nobody wanted until someone showed them how to cook it.
I promise, if you ever try oxtail there is no going back it is so good!
FPI is the worst metric since the BCS was created.
Likely created by the same great minds, and for the same reasons.
Wow FPI. BYU didn’t move up a single spot. Still 14th and ND drops from #1 to #2
BYU’s Strength of Record is #1 in nation and efficiencies up to #8
Not gonna let that crazy FPI metric ruin the moment for me, but it’s amazingly hard for BYU to move up in it. It likes blowout wins apparently… unless you’re in the SEC or a bluebloods
UGA lost and only went down one spot while Auburn jumped up 10 spots
Bama only dropped one spot for (sadly) laying that egg in Knoxville…
Wild.
Have you ever wondered what 10 lbs of oxtail looks like when it's smoked? No? Well you're welcome anyway!
It is DELICIOUS btw, and later today it is going to be the best oxtail smoked chili ever!!

Replying to @mateiahlouise
Men who want more than one, typically don't want ALL of any woman.
Glad we got the win, glad ND showed up.
The Irish have nothing to be ashamed of tonight. Go Irish.
Go Cougars!!

Since I became a member, and then later became fully active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, there are some things I have never heard preached from the pulpit at church.
1) I have never heard anyone give a Sacrament Meeting talk that denigrated other religions - Christian or non-Christian
2) I have never heard the Adam-God Theory taught or discussed in any church meeting or lesson.
3) I have never heard anyone say or teach that Jesus Christ was a "created" being. He's always spoken of in the eternal sense. One of His names that we revere is Alpha and Omega. Another one is the Eternal Father.
4) I have never heard that salvation is a result of one's works.
What I have heard in every Sacrament Meeting is the following:
O God, the Eternal Father, we ask thee in the name of thy Son, Jesus Christ, to bless and sanctify this bread to the souls of all those who partake of it; that they may eat in remembrance of the body of thy Son, and witness unto thee, O God, the Eternal Father, that they are willing to take upon them the name of thy Son, and always remember him, and keep his commandments which he hath given them, that they may always have his Spirit to be with them. Amen.
And...
O God, the Eternal Father, we ask thee, in the name of thy Son, Jesus Christ, to bless and sanctify this water to the souls of all those who drink of it, that they may do it in remembrance of the blood of thy Son, which was shed for them; that they may witness unto thee, O God, the Eternal Father, that they do always remember him, that they may have his Spirit to be with them. Amen.
Yes, we do teach the nature of Christ as described in John chapter 1, which basically says, Jesus Christ is God, and he came to earth as man. (Verse 14, "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." Hence, as man is, Christ (God) once was.
Yes, we do believe as the scriptures teach that we can become joint heirs to the Father with Christ. Romans 8:17, "And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together." Galatians 3:29, "And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise."
Yes, we do believe the teachings of the Holy Bible, as well as follow them accordingly. When we teach, we teach from the scriptures.
We also believe that Jesus Christ will return in glory and power. The wicked will be burned, as Christ testified, and the righteous will receive Him and live with him 1,000 years in peace.
We believe in being prepared for His return. Like the parable of the 10 virgins, there will be those who will be allowed in, and those who will be sent away. We believe that preparation for His return is important if we want to be among the 5 wise virgins.

BYU IS EMPTYING THE KITCHEN SINK!!! MOST DISRESPECTED TEAM IN THE COUNTRY YEAR IN AND YEAR OUT! COUG NATION RISE UP #provodave
So many issues withthis story. First if you close your eyes for even a short period of time the FSD is going to pull over. Second, the FSD isn't going to slam into anything without hitting it's brakes.
Sounds like he fell asleep and blamed the car, and the news uncritically just ran with the story because that is what ABC does. It would take LITERALLY less than 2 minutes to confirm or disprove this on the cars internal cameras.
So cool! Happy 16th birthday to my first born!
