Issue 57: Can You Back Into a Second Brain with a Collection of Software Features? bramadams.dev/can-you-back-i…

One week from today (July 2nd, 2024), I'll be giving a talk at Chautauqua's 150th Anniversary Season about the intersection of AI & Literature. The title of my talk is "You and Your Commonbase" (an homage to Richard Hamming's 1995 talk, You and Your Research). In the talk, I'll be discussing the indefatigable problem of scale with our note taking or personal knowledge management systems, and introducing the Commonbase data structure (how AI embeddings have revived the Commonplace Book) as an ergonomic solution to making technology that works for the individual. I'll be uploading the video here once it's up. You can check out where the project is on my Research & Product Updates here: bramses.notion.site/Your-Com… and the link to the my speaker page is here! clscalumni.com/speaker/bram-…
