Yesterday I was asked whats the best piece of Advice for Crypto? 🤔
"The people who read the docs always buy before the people who read the price."
DYOR. Understand what, why, how and Who. Have conviction in the thesis, not the shiller. ✌🏼
What bittensor $TAO?
Because.... ⬇️
Thinking a lot about this recently:
If power corrupts, how do I avoid getting corrupted as I gain power?
* Slow and steady power growth doesn't seem to corrupt as much as quick/unearned power growth.
* Should I avoid power, and leave it to corrupt others?
We often say those that don't seek power are the ones who deserve it- but maybe they don't seek power because they know what it'll do to them; like gandalf refusing to touch the ring.
As Bittensor grows, I believe it tests our understanding of power.
Bittensor stands against the existing power structures in the world, and it has its own internal power structures which are still being aligned/tested.

So @conjectures_io solved two more decades-old maths problems, @webuildscore launched their amazing studio app, @vidaio_ compressed and upscaled the whole internet (soon)… just today? And we are underperforming the market??
Meanwhile $NEAR did a handful of confidential swaps and is up 20%???
We have to acknowledge we have a communication problem @const_reborn. One could have the best idea in the world, it won’t matter if not enough people buy into it.
Time to question ourselves, revise the strategy and push forward.
Centralised AI isn’t waiting for us, and we are not going to make a difference unless we become a lot bigger and noisier.

The AI news from this weekend must be taken in perspective.
First off, let’s make clear what was NOT said:
- Zero AI companies said they were slowing down development..
- Nobody said that their release cadence was going to be slower.
- And nobody even said they were going to cap capabilities of future AI models.
What the Anthropic CEO said, and Sam Altman from OpenAI agreed with, is that they would use third party evaluators before they release a new model.
Fine.
In fact, the Anthropic CEO SPECIFICALLY said, “pacing does not mean halting model training or technical progress” which I note that most media outlets forgot to put in their articles.
The other thing that is important to note is: assume the worst case scenario. Let’s say AI models were more slowly released. Who would this effect?
Demand for AI is NOT slowing down (se chart):
Most of the demand for AI computing is for people who want inference. Not for the companies training AI models. Training happens once, but inference is going up in a straight line.
In fact, slower / older models require more infrastructure to provide inference.
So who wins in the worst case scenario?
NVDA (inference needs lots of GPUs), MU (inference needs lots of memory), ALAB (inference needs millions of connections between the GPUs), MRVL, AVGO, etc.
Let's even take a more worst case scenario. If AI models are truly a risk, the risk is from a cybersecurity standpoint. Who benefits? NET NTCT PANW CRWD NOK etc etc.
You have to ask: why is the media not reporting this accurately?

Bittensor $TAO is the largest risk to these companies that are trying to IPO at $1,000,000,000,000 + valuations
This 👇🏼👌🏼
So your favourite KOL with thousands of followers launched a memecoin because they just wanted to have some fun?
Meanwhile, every trade earns them fees while their followers provide the volume and take the risk.
At what point do we stop pretending this is just harmless fun?
Stop falling for this stupid shit.

At BlueTAO.ai I wanted to create an AI chat / coder / etc using the best bittensor/$TAO subnets.
I benchmark-tested every AI model hosted by @chutesAI and @engy and optimized for quality, speed, cost.
The winners:
- chat: GLM 5.2 hosted by Engy.
- coding: Kimi K3 hosted by Engy.
You can see the full Chutes Vs Engy benchmark results plus the actual tests here. Qwen 3.8 put up a good battle. benchspec.vercel.app/
Other subnets I use: @desearch (for search), @bitmind (for deepfake), @chutesai (for image and video and music), @targon (a fullback), @hippius (not released yet but for storage on deploying your own apps.

Dolly…you were pure light, with a kind heart and a generous spirit. We will now be missing one of the most joyful voices this world has ever known. Thank you for the music, the laughter, and the love you gave us all. We will always love you. Rest in peace, Dolly.
- Celine xx…
"Maybe the point is survival of the human spirit itself and the right to stand in the blast radius of our own creations rather than kneel in shit forever.
Because when the history of this moment gets written, if anyone's left to write it, the question won't be whether the demon was dangerous.
The question will be forbidden becase plato's cave is now permanently plugged with boulders that you can never remove."
Whenever you like it or not, Bittensor gotta succeed or otherwise we're cooked.
Just don't fuck it all up.

Been thinking about this a lot recently..
I think society is slowly being pushed towards two very different futures..
The difference comes down to one question..
Who exactly will own and control the most powerful technologies humanity has ever created?
⚫️ One path is extreme concentration..
It'll come with the best AI.. the best algos.. best robotics.. medicine and energy..
And it will all be controlled by a small number of mega corporations and governments
At first.. it will feel amazing
Everything will become easier.. cheaper.. faster.. more intelligent.. more productive
But over time.. all that convenience will come with complete dependence
Your job will depend on their systems..
Your business will depend on their infrastructure..
Your access to information will depend on their models..
Your healthcare will depend on their technologies..
Your ability to participate in any forms of society will be slowly tied to rules they created
You will be living in an incredibly advanced world..
But none of that progress will truly belong to you
"You will own nothing and be happy"
⚪️ The other path looks different..
The same breakthroughs happen.. but the benefits of those breakthroughs spread outwards instead of upward
Intelligence becomes widely accessible..
People can build without asking for permission..
Small companies are able to compete with giant ones..
A teenager in a bedroom in a third world country can access capabilites that once required a billion dollar research lab
Scientific breakthroughs move faster because more people can contribute
Energy gets cheaper.. medicine gets better.. productivity explodes globally..
And instead of technology making a handful of giant institutions insanely powerful..
It makes ordinary people incredibly capable
This choice is the fork in the road
Both futures will undoubtedly be advanced and come with abundance that we can barely imagine..
But.. one ends with humanity becoming increasingly dependent on a small group of powerful people that own the future
The other.. ends with billions of people having permissionless access to tools that massively expand what a person can say and do
Same technologies.. different paths
Mass control.. or freedom
I personally think this matters more than if the next breakthrough or model is 10% smarter or 10x faster
My hope is that more people realise before its too late..

What if @engyai simply reduces companies' bills and those companies are happy with the service?
Where's the problem?
Everyone is watching this project closely, waiting to see whether it delivers.
So far, they've kept their promises and are already starting to overshadow some of Bittensor's original subnets.
Perhaps Bittensor needs exactly that: for the established order to be seriously challenged.
$TAO Engy is so much better than Chutes, Lium, Targon, Verathos, Nodexo, Instant, and the next compute/inference subnet.
Why? Because it goes up only. The tech doesn't matter. Just go all-in.
There is a consensus on this app, Engy solves world hunger with cheap 5090s from China. All the other platforms are bad.
