The draconian imprisonment of Aleema Khan, Dr Uzma Khan, and Noreen Niazi, Imran Khan’s three sisters, is an appalling abuse of state power. Imprisoning women for standing by their brother is an act of political vindictiveness, not justice.

Take a pause from everything. Forget who you support & who you oppose, and let it sink in that a province’s CM has been taken away and disappeared and Additional CS’s kids abducted. Just think about what that means. Everything else starts to seem like a joke.

You know what’s actually not funny? This chutiya thinking he’s being funny & cool by making such remarks while serving as the defence minister of a country that ranks so high in terrorism & all this coming from a suar who wasn’t even elected in first place, we're so finished.

Emergency in KP is a heavy blow to the 18th Amendment & the federal structure of Pakistan. Political disagreements can now erode the provincial autonomy. You are alienating millions of voters. There will be nothing but hatred and resentment in this void.

Today, Asim Munir’s puppet, illegitimate Form-47 federal government, imposed on Pakistan through an unannounced martial law, has effectively suspended the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, the only assembly elected through a genuine public mandate, and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government that holds a majority of more than three-fourths of the MPs. Provincial Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, Speaker of the KP Assembly Babar Saleem Swati, and PTI’s provincial president Junaid Akbar Khan have been abducted. Many PTI MNAs and MPAs were already abducted in the last few weeks. Asim Munir and the mafia he has imposed on Pakistan continue to hollow out the country’s foundations so that their grip on power remains intact. This illegitimate federal government has no public mandate and exists only through force and manipulation. Asim Munir, Shehbaz Sharif and Mohsin Naqvi, whose actual duty is to secure the borders and stop terrorism before it happens, are touring the world to manufacture numbers and polish their image, while dumping their core responsibilities of border protection and the elimination of terrorism onto the provincial government. This dictatorship, like those before it, will end up in the dustbin of history. The people of Pakistan must now decide: will you keep silently enduring all of this under an illegitimate government, or will you stand up and save Pakistan from complete destruction? #نکلو_پشاور_کی_طرف

156 civilians, including 120 children, were killed in an attack on a school in Iran ordered by Donald Trump. Yet Pakistan's PM Shehbaz Sharif nominated him for the Nobel Peace Prize. Matlab itna besharam koi kaise ho sakta hai?

In 1993, this photo of Belgian soldiers holding a Somali boy over an open fire shocked the world. The soldiers were in Mogadishu as part of the UN-authorized Operation Restore Hope, supposedly there to protect Somalis and deliver humanitarian assistance. The photograph became evidence in a military prosecution. And what happened next was even more shocking. In June 1997, a Belgian military court acquitted the two soldiers, Claude Baert and Kurt Coelus, of assault, battery and threats. Their defence? They claimed it was merely a “game.” The court accepted that there was insufficient evidence that the boy had suffered bodily harm or that his life had been threatened. The prosecution appealed. In December 1997, the acquittal was confirmed. Imagine being the Somali child in that photograph. Imagine watching the men who held you over a fire walk free because a court decided there was insufficient proof that you had been harmed. This is part of the history that disappears when Western military interventions in Africa are remembered only through the language of “peacekeeping” and “humanitarianism.”

History will record that Turkiye, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia did not form an alliance against Israel to support their brothers in Gaza, but rather an alliance against Yemen, which stood with Gaza.

It’s breast cancer awareness month this October. It haunts me that Gaza’s only specialised cancer hospital was destroyed by Israel, leaving 17,000 people with cancer and no chemotherapy.

Every Tuesday Imran Khan’s family spends hours outside just hoping to see him. Now his sisters and the rest of the family are in jail, his cousin Qasim Khan went there to meet him. They arrested him too. There is no limit to this fascism, it needs to be stopped once and for all.

I was in Grade 3 when you came to my school collecting donations for Shaukat Khanum. I gave you my first ever donation out of my saved up pocket money. I still remember a tall Imran Khan, towering over me, handing me this certificate, patting my head, shaking my hand and saying "Thank you." Today, I wish I could shake your hand and thank you. For everything you have done for Pakistan and its people. Happiest birthday, Skipper. For you, a thousand times over!! #FreeImranKhan
