In the desert of displacement, a woman sits in silence.
This is the face of the suffering of the forgotten women of Sudan 馃挃
Eyes burned by tears, a face exhausted by oppression.
An elderly man crying bitterly, this is the face of patience that has run out.
In Sudan, they don't build dams with stones, but with human bodies!
Their bodies are the dam, with their souls they stop the water.
They didn't drown in the sea, they died of thirst in the desert.
Their dream was bread and water, and their grave was the sand.
