Prototopia (Formally Obscure Gamers)

The fundraiser goal for legal costs, has just £1400 to find by monday, if we wish to help the seller save history. @LadyDecade has done an amazing video, and points out the real issues with this case: youtube.com/watch?v=xGaEnoWZ… The GoFundMe link is: gofund.me/cb6825b92 thank you.

While alseep, we hit the GoFundMe goal! I wish to personally thank every donator, and those that have supported the SEGA seller. While we have hit this goal, as mentioned on GFM, this is just the start, more updates will be shared once the invoice is paid along with progress of the case. This unfortunately won't be an over night thing, the UK legal system is slower than a snail at times. We are hopeful the law will be just, and served right.

Our seller has appointed Imran Khan & Partners as the lawyer/solicitor firm to handle the case. ikandp.co.uk/ The estimate of the case is £10,000-£20,000 and it'll be a set fee case once confirmed. We need to raise £3,500 by this Monday for Imran Khan & Partners to take on the case, we have £4000 raised already gofund.me/bcd8b5518. A huge thank you goes to all that have donated so far, please keep sharing and promoting this with your friends, family, and community's.

After the poll yesterday held here, and via @xPrototopia, 88.8% voted yes on X, and 75% have voted yes to help support the seller into getting a better lawyer to help get the items back. We have decided to leave out the earlier donations as Goodhub hasn't paid these still (see PT/OG) please share/support this so we can save the history they're trying to steal from the community. gofund.me/a1ed3844f #SegaScandal #PreserveGamingHistory

On August 11th, VGPM's unique one of one made XBOX 360 was mailed via @franprix store, 23, rue Saint-Corneille, 60200 Compiègne. With @lisalaposte Upon posting, the store magically lost this console, initially denying they even had the console, later blaming a postal worker for putting it in the wrong mailing tote. Issue is, a proof of postage receipt was stamped by the store, proving they had custody of the parcel. Since then, The store manager, has repeatedly changed what he said and now denies even having the parcel. Attempts to contact the store owner via his personal phone, have resulted in him reading the messages, and not replying. Reviews online show similar reports of this store. pagesjaunes.fr/pros/50085355 The console, has now been reported stolen, and French police have been contacted, along with legal paper work filed against the store. The consoles serial is: 016263302805 manufactured: 08/07/2010 and is a unique purple @ColorWare console. If you come by it, please let us know, a reward can be given on the safe return. Please share/RT this and share the news.

Today we're excited to share our new, custom website designed and coded in collaboration with Callum at Cogden. vgpm.org/ Please let as know if you spot any bugs, or have an suggestions. Thank you all, we'll have more updates over the coming weeks.

Over the next few weeks VGPM will be launching our new site and custom built system, for now we'll be sharing a few sneak peaks of the overhaul. Included is a sneak peak of a unique console arriving soon, only one unit was ever made and was given away by Sony in 2010. Ps, We'll be hosting at @AlbionGamesCafe this Friday! Be sure to come visit and play some unique consoles and games!

And we’re finished for tonight. Thank you to everyone that showed up! Hopefully we’ll see you again next month. Please be aware the fundraiser is still live, and we still have a chance to save the rest of the sega carts. We can’t do this without the community’s support. Even sharing this is helpful. Thank you.
