Going forward, imma need every Christian to disavow KKK, Nazis, and white supremecists as base standard. If you don’t, I’m assuming you are for them and a part of these organizations.

Particularly these two.
Its so funny thinking about how many more iconic black women we’d have in comics if certain characters who were originally going to be black stayed that way

This is why I don't judge looters during revolutions and protests. People take what they couldn't otherwise afford because capitalism has made it so we have to suffer working back breaking jobs for below liveable wages, making us scrimp and save for what should to barely get by.

This is murder. This is a murder that was partaken in by the entire political establishment and the NHS. It is a murder of a person for no other reason than simply because she was trans. Nobody will go to jail. Nobody will suffer any consequences. But they all murdered Joelle.

I like making fun of Rorschach as much as anyone and saying Walter Kovacs is a really REALLY pathetic creep and loser, but Rorschach is a masterstroke of a character because you do legitimately feel sympathy for this guy despite him being repugnant because he DOES have beliefs
Moore's sympathy for Rorschach, which is very evident in WATCHMEN, is also clearly influenced by how he held deep admiration for Steve Ditko as a creative & as a person but also pity for how he tied himself to an inherently toxic ideology

The tragedy of Rorschach is that he's a crazy person that strives to hurt people he deems bad. He demonstrates the horrors of moral absolutism. But that means, in the end, he's the only one that even tries to do the right thing BECAUSE he has unbending principles & convictions.
Obviously Moore is right that Rorshach is no "hero" but it seems Moore wrote him more sympathetically than he wants to admit

While it’s true some people dismiss astrology on misogynist grounds, I’m afraid that Le Guin said it best.
anti-astrology is always a veiled misogyny

This has literally never happened, not once, anywhere, ever. Teachers have to buy their own fucking erasers because the school won’t pay for classroom supplies. Who is paying for the hormones and surgeries? Your kid goes missing for three days and you’re not filing a fucking missing persons report? That would actually be kidnapping. Not to mention there is no state in the US that allows kids to get HRT or gender reassignment surgery without parental consent. I have no idea how anyone believes this is real. The only thing schools are doing is respecting when a child wants to be called a different name. Just like if someone named Jessica wants to be called Jess or Jessie instead.
Trump: "We have 5 states where your child goes off to school as Tim and comes back as Tammy 3 or 4 days later. It's true. And teachers make a decision. 'Goodbye Timmy I love you so much, I'll see you later.' And you say, 'Where's my son? My son is in the hospital.' Can you imagine? They don't even need approval"

A cop had his Tesla in self-driving mode on a busy highway, nearly killing him, another cop, and almost caused a pile up putting dozens of other drivers and their passengers at risk, and Elon's cult is talking about how his new free falling model car is "the future."
A self-driving Tesla crashed into a California highway patrol vehicle, seriously injuring two officers inside. According to the officers, the driver said he was asleep at the time and using the car’s driver-assistance technology.

“Her friend was slumped on the bathroom floor, partially clothed, saying “get me out of here” and “I don’t want to be here” This is what men were cheering for. A half unconscious woman who was pleading not to be raped.
CNN has more on the U Chicago rape. The reporting on this incident keeps getting worse and worse. This is sick stuff! "Shortly after, Lara said her friend was kissing the man near a wall before the pair disappeared. She started searching for her friend and later found his friends outside a bathroom in the basement, but the man and her friend were not with them. The man’s friends told Lara to look upstairs, so she and her other friend checked there, on the porch and outside, before returning to the basement bathroom. When they returned, Lara said she saw the man’s friends “banging on the door,” “cheering,” and saying, “they want to get in there.”" -- "At this point, the group of men told Lara that their friend and her friend were inside the bathroom, she told CNN. One of the men allegedly grabbed Lara’s other friend, told her not to worry and that the two were “having fun” in the bathroom, Lara said. Though the door was locked, Lara said she found a way to shimmy it open and broke into the bathroom. She said she immediately told the man he needed to get off her friend and leave, but the man initially refused to leave. Her friend was slumped on the bathroom floor, partially clothed, saying “get me out of here” and “I don’t want to be here,” Lara said, adding she had never seen her friend in that state before." -- "When they got outside of the fraternity house, Lara said her friends went to sit on the sidewalk. She noticed the same group of men pointing and laughing at the woman who said she was assaulted, Lara said. The men then point in the direction of the fraternity house and say the man she’s looking for was trying to get back into the party. When Lara looks in the direction of the fraternity house, she says the men took off running, and so she took off after them. At one point, the men slow down and start laughing at Lara, and one of them takes out his phone and starts recording her, she told CNN. --- "Lara said a campus police officer witnessed her chasing the man and asked her what happened. She said she took the officer back to her friend to get her help. The friend would later tell Lara she remembered there were two men in the bathroom at one point, one of whom “was pinning her down” and sexually assaulted her, Lara told CNN. The victim went to the University of Chicago Hospital for treatment, Chicago police said."

Finding a murdered child's body and using the skull as a ashtray in a bar because you thought it was an Indigenous child and only feeling bad once you discovered it was a white child's body really shows how dehumanized Indigenous people are!

This guy provided fentanyl to a woman, raped her while she was unconscious and then sent her naked photo to other men instead of calling for help. She died. He should be charged with rape AND murder. He violated her multiple times and then left her for dead.

#CriticalRoleSpoilers thinking about caleb and his green beans yasha and her tomatoes it means so much to me that one of cr's most enduring themes is of the garden. of growing things as as act of healing the land and our self as an act of resistance
#criticalrolespoilers the previous Barrons of Sloak forbidding the druids to grow the lands meanwhile Thimble and Vaelus spent the entire night helping it grow and thrive so that the people can one day flourish in the fields of a much more prosperous land :,)
