Having witnessed natural disasters firsthand, I know how heartbreaking they can be—and how deeply they impact children. That’s why I’m thrilled to support #WNCFloodofBooks, led by the wonderful author @CarolynBFraiser, by donating five copies of my book, 🌳The Tree of Hope.
The recent devastation from #HurricaneHelene and #HurricaneMilton has inspired me to extend this effort further. During the next two months, I’m offering free virtual author presentations to schools impacted by these storms (as many as my work schedule allows).
In these sessions, I’ll do a reading from The Tree of Hope, share educational resources to help children explore the importance of nature, understand hurricanes with practical tips, and explore the power of community and hope.
If you’re a #librarian or #Teacher in an impacted area, please reach out via DM or email 📧 [email protected] to bring this experience to your students. 🌎
💚 If your school is currently unable to host online sessions due to infrastructure issues, contact me to discuss options.
✨ Friends, please feel free to share this post with any educators or librarians who might benefit.
With amor and solidarity,
Anna
