I'm not on here much anymore, but wanted to say thanks to @wyep and their awesome DJs for keeping my brain moving both while working and while not working. It's been a weird two years, but at least the soundtrack was decent. :)

OK @GiantEagle, I am officially defeated. For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to get the amount of brussels sprouts I order. I try to order 2 lbs. Sometimes I get a handful. Sometimes I get 2 (just TWO) sprouts. Rarely, I get 2 lbs. Yesterday, I ordered 2 lbs and got <1.

Do you know how to stretch THREE SPROUTS to be a side dish for 15 people? No? Well, coincidentally, neither do I. I have tried to ask shoppers to verify the amount, and *always* seem to have to get them to fix it because they did not know that sprouts are sold BY WEIGHT.

Asking the shopper to verify the quantity only works when I can get to them in time. I decided to start adding a note on the item, reminding them that sprouts are sold by weight. That worked last week, and I got the 2 lbs that I ordered. This week? Nope. Fail. Less than a pound.
Haven't been on here in a while, but mad props to Ashley and the crew at @flattireco for building me a kick ass bike. This thing is a beast. I've been on it almost daily this week, and loving it. Back to long trail rides that I can enjoy, instead of worrying about breaking stuff!

Not coming back for realz, but no matter which winter solstice time holiday you celebrate, we hope you have a happy one. We celebrate Christmas, so here's a tour of our decorations and our well wishes for you. The light will always win over darkness! youtu.be/96awjFUZJ-U

I rather wish @FedEx @FedExHelp wouldn't mark a package as out for delivery, proceed to not show up, and then tell me it is back at the distribution center and will be delivered tomorrow. Already rearranged one day to be present to sign, now I need to rearrange a second day. :(

Maybe, just maybe, all of this "inconvenience" this isn't about *you* getting sick. Perhaps one of the ways we can use this time apart (and, ironically, it is happening during Lent!) is to think about what we can do for others (hint: Right now, that is to help flatten the curve).

Thanks @wyep and @kylewyep913 for talking about the things you're doing in your own workplace to slow the spread, while still keeping good programming on the air. Appropriate use of tech can enable amazing things. A bit of continuity in a disrupted world is much appreciated!

I missed the ad, but I 100% support #GirlsWhoCode. I am fortunate to work with several top-flite women who can totally kick my ass. One of them is on my team. The world needs those minds. There is so much good left to be done. #MakeSpaceForWomen.

Thanks for the recipes @bonappetit! New subscriber here. Found you thanks to a YouTube “suggested” video one day over Christmas. Made the Shrimp Po Boys tonight for my wife (not a chicken fan), and Chicken Katsu Sandwiches for me (not a shrimp fan). Great stuff!

This is what the internet was *supposed* to be. Read the thread. See, there's some hope left, here. Tiny slivers, maybe, but there's still some hope.

Also, I keep getting the idea that the theme of this year's production is "fire." Like, how many live fire effects do we really need in one show? #grammys
