18 MONTHS TO GET FUNDED. LESS THAN A WEEK TO BLOW IT.
Before his $158,000 FTMO payout, Razvan thought passing a challenge meant he’d made it.
“I’m going to be rich.”
Then greed cost him the account.
Sound familiar? You finally get funded, start thinking about the payouts, and suddenly every loss feels like something you need to win back.
Passing the challenge doesn’t mean you’re ready to keep the account.
Razvan had to accept that no strategy gives him control over the next outcome.
His job was to protect the account long enough to let his edge play out.
What does that look like on the charts? Watch him follow his process in the full strategy breakdown.

5. Start small, add later
First entry small, at the level. Second entry bigger, only after a strong candle confirms.
Then the stop moves to break even.

1. Yesterday's low and high
Expecting a bullish day? Wait for price to dip below yesterday's low and buy there.
Target: yesterday's high.

2. The sweep and reclaim
Price takes out yesterday's low, then closes back above a small 1 minute gap.
One trader took this long on NQ with 4 micros and a simple 1 to 1 target.

You buy the breakout. Price ticks up, then flips and hits your stop.
A minute later it rips in your direction without you.
Your direction was right. Your stop was the fuel it needed first.

Lose 10% and you need 11% to get back to even.
Lose 25% and you need 33%.
Lose 50% and you need 100%.
On a funded account, the rules usually close it long before you get that chance.

Fabio Valentini ranked top 3 in the Robbins Cup with over 500% in 12 months.
He only trades his model during the New York session.
Most traders try to trade every session.
The fix: find the hours your setup works best, and stay out of the rest.
Since 2022 I've sat down with hundreds of traders on Words of Rizdom. The idea that changed my own trading most wasn't a strategy.
It was time frame alignment.
Check the higher timeframe trend first. Only drop to a lower timeframe when it agrees. If they don't line up, there's no trade.
People keep searching for a holy grail setup. This one rule did more for me than any setup ever did.
SHE LOST $80,000 IN ONE DAY. THEN RECEIVED A $1.1 MILLION PAYOUT.
You see the payout screenshot. You don’t see the nights she cried, couldn’t sleep and wondered whether the struggle would ever pay off.
Even after requesting that $1.1 million, @CandyTheTrader says she waited almost TWO MONTHS, worried the money might never arrive.
When it finally hit her bank account, every painful moment came flooding back.
“The struggles, you know, all those tears, sweat, everything is worth it.”
But one of her turning points happened long before that payout.
She heard other traders speak openly about blowing accounts, losing money and doubting themselves.
People behind the success stories had faced struggles she recognised in herself.
Ever taken a loss and thought, “Maybe I’m just not good enough”?
That’s what makes this conversation worth watching. Candace explains how hearing those honest experiences helped her stop treating her struggles as proof she couldn’t succeed.
Before you compare your worst trading day to someone else’s biggest payout, listen to what came before hers.

My first funded account had an incredible first month.
It ruined my mindset.
It took me months and a blown account to understand why.
3. No breakeven until a new leg of structure completes.
4. Never more than 3 attempts at one idea in a day.
None of these care how good last month was.
