I don't enter on the first break of structure. I wait for it to fail. The traders who jumped on that first break get swept out. I call them early buyers, or early sellers. That's the point of peak emotion for both sides of the market. It's usually right before the real move.

How one of our traders checks if buyers are in control: 1. Price drops below an old low. 2. It comes back up and reacts there. 3. It pulls back again. Then a buy below a small 5 or 15 minute low, with a clear target above. Do you wait for the retest, or take the first move?

You win 5 trades in a row and start to feel like you've figured it out. So you double your size on trade 6. That's usually the one that takes back the whole week.

One of our traders did not go in full size on NQ. First entry: small, at the level. Second entry: bigger, after a strong candle confirmed it. Then the stop went to break even. The trader closed it for $2K, live on stream. Do you add to a winning trade, or keep one entry?

A 40% win rate can be a winning strategy. A 70% win rate can be a losing one. The difference is one formula most traders never run. How to check yours in 4 steps:

Your first payout lands in your bank account. The next morning you trade half your normal size, and close every trade the moment it turns green. Nobody tells you a payout can make you scared too.

You miss the entry. Price runs without you. So you jump in late, far from your plan, with a wider stop. The trade you missed cost you nothing. The one you chase usually does.

We did not invent the whiteboard. I want that on record before anyone sends a lawyer. When we started using one on Chart Fanatics, you did not really see it on trading shows. Guests would draw their setups on it and walk people through how they actually think. It worked, and the channel grew into one of the biggest in the space. Now I see a whiteboard on almost every trading channel. I take it as a compliment. We have no copyright on a whiteboard, and we never will. But it does show me something. A lot of people do not trust their own vision. They wait for someone else to take the risk, then follow once it looks safe. By then the reward has already gone to whoever moved first. That is the part nobody can copy. You can buy the same board and the same marker. You cannot buy being early. What idea are you holding back right now because nobody else has tried it yet?

25 YEARS OLD. CO-MANAGING $50 MILLION AND BUYING THE STOCK YOU THINK YOU’VE MISSED. SanDisk had already rallied over 100% when @ConnorJBates_ bought at $135. You think you’re too late at $135? The stock went on to reach $725. Suddenly, $135 doesn’t look so expensive. “You never know how high these things can go.” But recognising a powerful stock is only part of it. Knowing where to enter, when to take profits and when to get out is what makes this breakdown worth studying. Before you write off another stock because “it’s already gone up too much,” watch this clip. In this Sunday’s episode, Connor reveals: • His “super stock” criteria for finding potential market leaders. • His entry playbook for breakouts, flags and pullbacks. • Where he defines risk and cuts failed trades. • How he takes profits while keeping part of a position running. Plus more chart examples showing how he puts his playbook to work. Full episode drops Sunday at 10 a.m. EDT on Chart Fanatics.

2. Break even gives you a second chance. One trader got stopped out at break even, so the first try cost nothing. Price came back to the zone, and the second entry worked.

A hammer candle in the middle of nowhere is just a candle. The same hammer at a level buyers have defended before is worth your attention. The pattern tells you what happened in one bar. The location tells you whether it matters.

One trader on our channel spent 17 months backtesting before he placed his first real trade. Later he hit #1 on the FTMO leaderboard with 80% profit in a single month. How he got there is not what most people expect.
