‼️FOR THE FIRST TIME, VERDIAN LAYS OUT QUANT'S FULL ROLE WITH THE CLEARING HOUSE‼️
In this interview, sitting beside The Clearing House's own Chief Strategy Officer, Gilbert Verdian explains what the relationship actually covers.🤝
Verdian's own words:
"We provide the ENTIRE CLEARING AND SETTLEMENT PLATFORM for bringing and interoperating tokenized deposits together between the banks, and then the integration into RTP, into CHIPS, for the Clearing House settlement side to happen as needed for the banks to settle their obligations."✅

Many #crossborderpayments still move at the speed of the slowest correspondent. The customer waits, the treasury carries the uncertainty, and the balance sheet absorbs the cost.
Programmable cross-border payments close that gap without leaving the regulated rail. They use #tokeniseddeposits, which remain a claim on a regulated bank throughout, and that sets them apart from #stablecoins.
Our latest article covers how they work, who carries the risk between credit and settlement, the ledger and FX choices banks face, and a staged path to building the use case: quant.network/perspectives/p…

I come bearing gifts. 🎁
With the latest deals signed and Fusion set to open to retail, a lot of new people are about to look at $QNT. The information they need on how the token actually works is scattered across old Telegram messages, AMAs and Quant’s website, and some of it, like the early papers on token utility, isn’t on the website at all. Quant has also retired its Telegram comms, so asking every newcomer to dig through chat history isn’t realistic.
So I’ve put it all in one place, with sources for claims: quamfylounge.com

📣The noise $QNT is making’s worth paying attention to
For YEARS they built in silence
We’d get an headline here n there
All of a sudden we’re getting
Capgemini collaboration
Big SIBOS Panel
News of TCH
Programmable Yen?
This isn’t like Quant in past years
In the past we'd see 2, maybe 3 announcements throughout the year.
And while few, they were usually quality ones.
UK RLN. Project Rosalind. Oracle Developments. Etc
And throughout the start of this year, it kinda seemed like it would be a case of the same.
We saw Dentsu Soken and Murex announced quite early on
Both of which are monumental in their own ways,
But obviously over the past few months we've seemingly seen an explosion and suddenly... Everything is connecting together with the greater vision.
Gilbert's even become quite playful, checking off his Programmable Currency list 1 by 1.
This isn't like how Quant's behaved over the past couple of years.
And I think there's good reason for that.
Things are evolving fast from here

There's a lot w $QNT Tokenized Deposits
• UK GBTD live
• US TCH OCMI
• Japan DCJPY
But there's more VERIFIED work behind the scenes:
✅ECB Digital Euro
✅LACChain Settlements
Quant has shown these 2 architectures in their presentation with LACChain
These aren't just speculation,
Rather they were presented with the LNET Foundation as a whole.
These developments weren't brought up in headlines
Sure, we heard Quant partnering with LACChain or how Quant had been selected for the Digital Euro
But much of the details for both developments had stayed relatively hidden until now.
Couple key points worth mentioning here:
• Digital Euro use case presented the same marketplace solution we saw go live with UK GBTD recently
• Work with LACChain was around tokenized deposits in 2023, far before they became mainstream in finance
It seems like the work with Quant and LACChain have especially been in depth over the years.
What was developed here wasn't just tokenized deposits though.
They had developed an mDapp on Overledger for LACChain clearing and settlement.

This REALLY goes to show the overall architecture expertise of Quant Network over the years.
Orchestration had been their game plan from Day 1
Only now we're seeing it unveil to the World of Finance in real-time.
Quant was playing 4D Chess all along♟️

Tokenised deposits have moved quickly from concept to execution. A couple of years ago, a single US bank issuing its own #tokeniseddeposit was a talking point.
Today, a growing number of banks are building their own, and the question facing the industry has changed.
In this article, we explore how tokenised deposits differ from #stablecoins, where they are gaining traction, how #settlement models vary across networks, and what banks are learning as they move from pilot to production: quant.network/perspectives/t…

The @USOCC has published its final rules for implementing the #GENIUSAct. It sets out requirements for stablecoin issuers under its supervision, along with rules for custody activities at OCC-supervised banks.
For US banks, this establishes a clear framework for one form of regulated #digitalmoney. Many will now be weighing #stablecoins, #tokeniseddeposits, or both.
Whichever route they take, the same questions follow: how these assets connect to existing systems, how they move between institutions, and how #payments can be programmed and settled synchronously.
That's where Quant steps in; creating corridors for the world's digital money.
Read the full release here: occ.gov/news-issuances/news-…
The rule and the Act will take effect on 18 January 2027. The OCC will confirm separately when it opens applications, and rules on AML and sanctions will follow in a separate rulemaking with the US Treasury.

🏦UK Finance dropped a new update on GBTD
3 Key Points:
✅3 Live TXs (2 remortgage 1 marketplace)
✅Entire platform by $QNT confirmed
✅New pilot w GBTD & digital assets
Look how Quant's described here:
"Developed by Quant as shared UK INDUSTRY INFRASTRUCTURE for tokenized comm bank money."
We already knew Quant was integral to the overall initiative of GBTD itself
But the way they're describing it here almost makes it seem like we've been underselling how critical this is.
They literally call Quant INDUSTRY INFRASTRUCTURE
You don't earn that name simply by being a one off technical provider at small scale
And with what Quant's enabled with 6 of the largest financial institutions across UK...
Paired with what's happening in US with TCH now,
It's quite deserving of the title industry infrastructure

🏦Hints of $QNT x JP Morgan are showing
We already know JPM's 1 of 17 banks in TCH's On-Chain Money Initiative orchestrated by Quant
Now JPM Coin's coming to Ethereum!
QuantNet DIRECTLY mentions integration of JPM Coin and Ethereum for single orchestration framework
But there's more
Look at who posted about this
Oli Harris, Global Head of Kinexys at JP Morgan
For those unaware Kinexys is JP Morgan's own in house blockchain infrastructure.
As a banking DLT, it's quite obviously a private permissioned DLT.
And to bring JPM Coin native to Kinexys onto Ethereum would require private x public DLT interoperability.
Exactly what Overledger offers & the support of JPM Coin even stated in QuantNet's release
In other words...
It's likely infrastructure that Overledger will have to connect to the greater OCMI ecosystem...👀

Banks and payment infrastructures have invested in new rails and standards. Yet #settlement still lags behind messaging.
Most #crossborderpayments settle sequentially: leg one, then leg two. In the gap between them, risk, cost, and failed settlement can creep in.
Synchronised settlement closes that gap. Both legs settle together, or neither does.
Live deployments across the UK, Europe, and Latin America show it’s already possible.

Tokenised deposits have moved quickly from concept to execution. Issuing them inside one bank is now well understood. The harder part is moving them between banks, across borders and onto the settlement rails the financial system already relies on.
In our latest article, our Chief Product Officer, Martin Hargreaves, looks at how #tokeniseddeposits and #stablecoins do different jobs, where use cases are taking hold, from intragroup liquidity to the cash leg of securities transactions, and how funds earmarking could connect regional networks: quant.network/perspectives/t…
