@uniwatch The triple stripes on @KStateFB's helmets don't match...look at #1's thicker helmet stripes compared to #20's narrower stripes. Also they are all narrower than they used to be - even compared to a couple years ago. Has been driving me nuts all year.

Here's just a couple years ago with Will Howard. Notice the width of the three stripes is equal to the width of the helmet bumper. Please bring back the wide stripes @KStateFB.

@NWSDodgeCity Measured 2.5 in of snow in Plains at 9:20 AM. Still snowing lightly.

Just to clarify this was from Friday morning’s storm. Currently (1/8 at 1:15 PM) rain has changed to snow in Plains and is beginning to accumulate on grassy surfaces

For what it’s worth I mostly don’t have a problem with subsidies as there are good reasons for them, but the irony of this line of attack on loan forgiveness is strong - on so many levels. Also, a lot of farmers have a college degree…
Why must a college graduate who chose to forgo becoming a farmer be responsible for paying farm subsidies?

It’s nice to be reminded of how much I hated my college visit to KU, how I completely felt like I wouldn’t/couldn’t fit in there (even as a gay kid who was a big KU bball fan), and how my visit to Manhattan was the polar opposite. So much arrogance on Snob Hill.

Nah they just hate you
Apple has mostly stopped advertising on Twitter. Do they hate free speech in America?
Having lived in northeast Kansas for much of my life, but also having lived in central Indiana, I can assure you this is a bad take...driving from one to the other is basically driving 12 hours to end up in the same place. Western KS is noticeably different, however...
The Plains states are not the Midwest. I won't be taking questions

No, no, no… In absolutely no way whatsoever is Wimbledon right on this.
Wimbledon (tennis tournament), IMO, has been the best organised & most democratic sports event in the world, for decades; also, self-funded, inclusive, progressive; ferociously independent. On RUS athletes in 2022, they're right. IMO. (Fine if you disagree)
The stench of ultrawhite privilege from that episode of Grand Designs NZ, topped off by perhaps one of the worst sign-offs ever, is still stinking up my apartment. My God that was brutal.

Imagine an OT where both stud QBs get the ball? Glad it worked out for KC tonight, but the NFL OT format remains terrible.
Must be nice to actually be able to get a test
Opinion: So far, my husband and I have tested negative. But this is a small house. There is no separate bathroom and we are depending heavily on our vaccines to protect us, writes Julie Lewis smh.com.au/national/all-i-wa…
Morally bankrupt man
Viruses affect different people differently. I saw this during my time as a physician. A one-size-fits-all mandate doesn’t make sense. I believe in the sanctity of the doctor-patient relationship which the vaccine mandate violates.

ABC News: Garden City isn’t a ā€œsmall townā€. It’s literally the largest city in the western half + of Kansas. At least the story credit recognizes Garden City as a place with a rich history of immigration from many diverse places...
For more than a year, this FBI informant braved a twisted world of hatred and violence, putting his life and his family on the line to infiltrate a radical militia group bent on killing Muslims in a small Kansas town. He speaks exclusively to @ABC News: abcn.ws/2Y35CSh

I used to think K-State had great fans, but actually a lot of them just really suck - at least the vocal ones do. A bunch of entitled morons who don’t know shit about football. Piss off already.

update on tonight's scandal from ND PR:
It’s not so much that as they are confident any microchip will just run right through them if indeed there’s one in there.
Why do people not believe there is a microchip in Ivermectin?
One year ago: what started as a trip to pick up pizza in Meade, ended with capturing this photogenic tornado northwest of Kismet, KS (photos taken 20+ miles away in/near Plains, KS).

Unpopular post...Only in America could anyone think that a prison sentence for more than twenty years is not harsh enough. If you know anything about prison, its utterly life destroying. I hope that we can move beyond the relentless desire for punishment. We need so much more.
