IMO this is Lance’s only path to being HC in 27. You have to win the next 4.
Now at 1.5. Jayhawks HAVE to win this one. They have four winnable games coming up where they should be favored or a single digit dog. Have to win them all to make a bowl. vs Baylor @ TCU vs UCF @ WVU

Think about the debacle end of half management vs ASU (1-2 B12). Horrendous GL execution vs Utah (14 pt swing) along with 10 penalties. Another debacle end of half vs rival ksu to go 0-9 vs rivals. Crippling penalties taking pts off the board. You have your answer @tgoff11

Has @corey2saucey made a tackle all season? Got snapped off by a juke move and now just got trucked

Just a reminder it’s actually worse if your team looks good in October.

Ok as a Kansan this is awesome
A bit hard to see, but Earl Santee (founder of Populous) showed these graphics during his presentation today that reveal that the natural limestone bluff will make appearances inside of the stadium itself. So part of the experience of walking in the "below-grade" concourses will be seeing this exposed limestone.

Skyline view in outfield could’ve been drastically better with the Washington Park site but overall this is pretty sick. Aesthetic of exterior is pretty great and will work well with CC and Union Station imo
A new crown jewel for Kansas City is taking shape.

Just solely based on Self’s comments today in a vacuum there appears to be a universe TK starts and Melvin does not. Would be fascinating
One interesting thing about Tre & Melvin, when Self was asked if he was pleased with how the group of players that were here working together all summer handled it when those two came in... #KUbball "So far, yeah. I liked it. Now, I think Melvin and Tre would tell you it's not a clear-cut path for (them) either."

Highest Graded Quarterbacks from Week 6🎯

Duke has managed to maintain dominance in CBB space thru the transition to NIL world better than anyone (blue bloods included). From a recruiting and roster turnover perspective all while keeping a young premier HC. They’re making it look easy while solidifying their image
The most valuable rosters in college basketball based on the player NIL evaluations from the EvanMiya.com Front Office Suite: 1. Duke $27.7M 2. Florida $27.2M 3. Illinois $25.0M 4. UConn $24.5M 5. Louisville $21.7M 6. Miami $21.5M 7. Kansas $21.4M 8. Michigan $21.3M 9. St. John's $20.9M 10. Iowa State $20.9M If a team spent way less than this, it means they got a discount on some great players.

I think Tre could be even better than what people are expecting. Him without DP and the stability this roster potentially provides, less stress doing dirty work. Could get 17 a game. Such awesome news @TreWhite19
Kansas officially announces Tre White returning after he was granted another year of eligibility earlier this week 👀

KSU new HC emphasizes the three ball but didn’t know if he would bring that with him to P4. Looks like he is based on captains

Sometimes you just have to give credit where credit is due. @markschlereth had his questions about the Chiefs coming into the season. Two weeks in, Kansas City is answering every one of them. 🏈

I’ve been one of the biggest Lance defenders…. KU has never spent more on football. Built a brand new stadium. He’s NEVER won a big game at Kansas. The OU/Texas wins were all surprises. I’m talking high expectations going into the game.

When Thunder GM Sam Presti was 17, he played one-on-one against a random guy at a health club outside Boston. The moment was so memorable and formative, he decided to track the guy down 30 years later. And that was just the beginning of the story. nytimes.com/athletic/7578278…
