The first review of KINGDOM QUARTERBACK—our book about Patrick Mahomes and the history of Kansas City—is here from Kirkus.
They called it "lively and meaningful."
"Chiefs fans will find this a revelation, and urban planners might learn a thing or two, too."
It’s out Aug. 22.

Mauricio Pochettino doesn't like soccer fights as much as he did when he was younger. But he loved how his young USMNT squad stuck together when things turned nasty at the end of Tuesday's win over Chile.
Pochettino described his players' instinct to protect each other as "amazing because that shows that you care for your teammate and that we are defending our shirt."
As the USMNT builds toward 2030 with a fresh, youthful squad, this was a night few of them will forget.

A phenomenal moment in the Senate.
Eric Schmitt, R-Mo., claims he has evidence Jack Smith went to a HAWKS game in Atlanta.
Smith denies it.
Schmitt declares he has busted Jack Smith for perjury.
Smith, vexed, says he went to HAWKEYES game in Maryland.

Great article and an incredible read! You never know which conversation, lesson or interaction will stick with someone. Always pay it forward.
When Thunder GM Sam Presti was 17, he played one-on-one against a random guy at a health club outside Boston.
The moment was so memorable and formative, he decided to track the guy down 30 years later.
And that was just the beginning of the story.
