Cholecystectomy may reduce some of the CVD risk associated with gallstones, although ultimately, further research is needed into whether cholecystectomy does or should have any role in CVD management. 12/12

Catastrophic situation in the central hospital of Nagorno-Karabakh. Azerbaijan still does not allow any medicine or international access to the area, and impedes the exodus to Armenia at its Lachin checkpoint. Wounded and sick people in Karabakh are dying.
🔴The situation in the hospitals of #Stepanakert is absolutely catastrophic! Shortages of medical staff, panic, people trying to find their loved ones from the blast. Very high number of injured individuals. 🔴We need urgent helicopter airlifting ASAP, otherwise many will die!

Needs some suggestions #SurgTwitter #MedTwitter I’m trying to come up with list of the 12 most important historical General Surgeons that new surgical trainees should know about. Those with instruments/operations/conditions named after them. I’d welcome suggestions… 🙏🙏👍
