So, OpenAI is raising another $30 billion, despite receiving $20bn more around Oct 1 2026 (today), and receiving $35bn from Amazon around July 31 2026. Where the hell is the money going lol ft.com/content/8ae9e6e4-a53c…
Nvidia and SoftBank have each completed the final $10B installment of their respective $30B commitments to OpenAI’s latest funding round. The round had $122B in commitments at an $852B valuation, including Amazon’s $50B investment. SoftBank total investment in OpenAI has now reached $64.6B, giving it roughly a 13% stake. OpenAI is already targeting another $30B raise at a valuation around $1.4T. Source: The Information

REVOLUT HAS ADMITTED SENSITIVE CUSTOMER DATA WAS HANDED TO SCAMMERS And there’s an important lesson here for EVERYONE. The fraudsters reportedly sent requests which appeared to come from a legitimate government agency email domain. Revolut was fooled. Think about that. We constantly tell consumers: “Check the email address.” “Look for spelling mistakes.” “Make sure it looks genuine.” But modern scams can look VERY genuine indeed. If a sophisticated financial institution can be deceived, ordinary consumers certainly can. But there’s also a serious question for Revolut: What verification took place before sensitive customer information was disclosed? Consumers entrust financial firms with extraordinarily sensitive data. Protecting it must mean more than simply trusting that an apparently genuine request really is genuine.
