Yes, #fentanyl increases #OD risk, but @JosephRFriedman & our team report @CIDJournal that it also predicts higher risk of #HepC acquisition among ppl who use drugs. This has implications for #harmreduction & treatment of #HCV & #opioid use disorder. rb.gy/kbz9j5
