I think I may be alone in this, but I wanted to know if anyone else feels the same way. Since Ocarina of Time in 1998, I’ve felt each new 3D main line Zelda game has gotten better than the games before it. Sure we all have personal preferences to prefer one game over another, but the quality of the games to me just keeps getting higher. And now that we’re going back to the first 3D Zelda again in a modern age, it feels like a lot of the things that got better are now being be applied in some ways to that game - and that’s just exciting to me. Most of us live in our nostalgia goggles which is a great place to be and very happy. But what’s next keeps being better to me than what I already played.
