ghumakkad happened🐰
for years i've been the person who falls down rabbit holes for fun - three hours deep into some niche wikipedia trail, some forgotten forum, some internet subculture nobody asked about.
that's what "ghumakkad" means to me: wanderer.
not someone going places, someone going down threads.
i wanted to build a room for that energy. a place where being obsessed with something weird and specific isn't a personality flaw, it's the whole point. where nerd culture doesn't have to explain itself or get watered down to be "relatable", it just gets to exist, loudly, with other people who get it.
so we got a bunch of ghumakkads in one room, brought our rabbit holes with us, and let them collide.

Overthinking isn’t a disease.
It’s mostly a survival strategy.
When you grow up around unpredictable emotions, your brain learns,
“If I analyze everything, I’ll stay safe.”
You start doing pattern recognition in the tiniest of things.
Studying people’s and even your own behaviour, quirks, pauses, eye movements, phrases to derive analysis that were never even meant to be derived in the first place.
The antidote isn’t more thinking.
It’s emotional permission (to yourself).
Permission to be misunderstood.
Permission to make mistakes.
Permission to be human.
Safety isn’t in having control at all times.
