This isn’t about $35—it’s about a system set up to discourage citizens from challenging mistakes.

Today I received a $35 parking citation at 1:37 PM — despite having paid for 8 full hours of parking (8:06 AM – 4:06 PM).
I have proof of payment from the city’s own parking system, including a receipt, text confirmation, and screenshots.

When I called to dispute it, I was told I’d have to schedule a court date in person, pay $81.50 in nonrefundable fees, and—if I lose—still owe the $35 fine.
In other words, even if you can prove you paid, you lose.

Hey, boo!
I made a couple of these cards and sent them to my girlfriends. Learned a lot using the vellum and sewing, but hey - it's handmade. 📷

Well...we made the list, but not as high as I was hoping. Interesting information regarding public schools in the area!!

That was fun, spent 30 minutes with 3–4 tabs open, two tabs on the phone open, and calling the ticket vendor, and tickets are sold out. Come on. @mattrife , stick around another night for us! 🤪
