To my National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives -NOBLE brothers and sisters, only 14 days until we're back together at our annual conference in New Orleans! I am seeking your support and asking you to vote for Wayne Harris for NOBLE National Second Vice President!
Police officers face significant challenges due to the trauma they endure in their careers. They have high levels of divorce, suicide, alcohol and substance use disorders, and mental health concerns. If officers are not well, our communities will not be well.
My third platform is to grow and strengthen NOBLE as a business. As a 501c3, it is critically important that our business practices are without reproach. We will be transparent, continue to empower and support our board, and promote good communication throughout the organization.
I am excited to announce that I am running for NOBLE National Second Vice President.
Join me on my journey to the polls. Check my website and vote Wayne P. Harris for NOBLE National Second Vice President.

What happened in California is a tragedy. This is why it is critically important for states like NY that are implementing legalized recreational use of cannabis to get it right and develop safeguards for use and sale.

The Biden/Harris administration is beginning to pay attention. Smoking reduction can only occur by education, counseling, and treatment. All of which have been used to bring tobacco usage to historical lows. washingtonexaminer.com/news/…
There’s a reason why Officer Wellness is the 6th pillar. If we’re not healthy, our communities won’t be either. Please understand the trauma and stress our men and women in law enforcement are under as they work to assist us in our times of need. God Bless this officer’s soul.
This woman lost her son for allegedly selling loose cigarettes. Eric Garner's death was a tragedy and unnecessary. The Biden/Harris administration want to create a scenario where tragedies like Eric Garner occur more frequently. #nomentholban

It’s time Senator Schumer begins to lead on this issue. Prohibition has only ever hurt the United States and never helped. Banning menthol will only exacerbate the growing illegal cigarette market and jeopardize our communities and police. #nomentholban
NEW: While Chuck Schumer has been a top champion of legalizing marijuana, he has yet to weigh in on a likely ban of menthol cigarettes, which would with a major impact on Black smokers. A Schumer spokesperson told me he has never taken a position on a ban. politico.com/newsletters/new…
Organized crime has increased as a result of the Biden/Harris administration's efforts to prohibit menthol tobacco and flavored cigars. Instead of addressing tobacco usage as the health issue it is, they have continued the failed strategy of prohibition.

For anyone still not believing that there is a significant illegal cigarette market…

Sadly, our country has not done right by our black farmers, and the Biden/Harris administration's proposed rule prohibiting menthol tobacco cigarettes and flavored cigars will add further insult to injury. #stopthementholban

Just want make sure I have this right. We can now smoke marijuana legally, but menthol cigarettes are going to be illegal, got it. This shouldn’t cause problems with the police and the community at all.

A truck load of illegal cigarettes is worth about $4M on the streets, the fine about $20K. Do the math. #nomentholban

Today at our annual Civil Rights Brunch, we heard a powerful keynote address by the Honorable Bennie G. Thompson - a member of the U.S. House of Rep. from Mississippi 2nd Congressional District.
Thompson has spent his entire career fighting for equity and inclusion. #noble47
The FDA’s ruling on menthol tobacco and flavored cigars will result in organized crime and violence. It’s already happening. Be informed.
