THATS A WRAP ON DISTRICTCON YEAR 1! ☃️❤️🪩
We sincerely hope you had a great time - it wouldn’t be possible without our amazing team, our speakers, the villages, our sponsors, and most importantly YOU! We hope this brings you a sense of community. Stay warm, be good to each other, and we’ll see you again for Year 2!

DISTRICTCON IS STILL A GO! We are excited to see you all on Saturday, January 24 as we are still going through our normal programming!
While we are unable to process refunds, we are adding virtual components to Saturday AND Sunday including a livestream for public sessions for ticket holders. Plus, our badge challenge and Village of Villages CTF will be available online (we’re still tweaking with these - more info soon). We are adding a livestream for attendees (ticket holders) to join us virtually. We are also working on a way to send swag to attendees that cannot make it safely because of the weather.
We appreciate your patience as we are a mighty team of volunteers pivoting based on Mother Nature. 🌨️ ☃️ Please reach out to [email protected] if you have additional questions - ticket holders will be hearing from us very soon.

We're excited to present 3 incredible blogs from our Jump The Wall participants from DistrictCon Year 0!
Jump the Wall is a unique kind of hackathon, launched as part of DistrictCon. It was designed to connect regional experts and hackers, giving them 24 hours to collaborate on research projects aimed at confronting censorship and digital authoritarianism.
Jump the Wall will be returning to DistrictCon in 2026! Participation will remain by invitation only, but if you think you’re a good fit, fill out the form on our website to apply for next year’s event. Additionally, next year’s JTW will feature more interactive activities, integrated throughout the rest of the convention. Be sure to keep an eye out, we look forward to seeing you next year!
