Why are primitive tent camping spots so expensive? Yes they are still cheaper than a hotel or a camper but it should not cost more than $10 and it should not require me to create an account that I will never use again. I had to create 3 accounts for 3 different camp sites.
I have to decide tonight though, do I pack light or do I pack comfortable?
I will be radio silent from bedtime tonight until the evening of Saturday because I am going to the Fulton Sheen beatification, do not have a smart enough phone for the Twitter app, and will be camping on primitive sites without power and wifi.
The old plan:

House at 25
New plan:
Married as soon as prudent (30.5 if we start tomorrow)
Kids nine months later (31 if married at 30.5)

Fr. Mike Schmitz just revealed that Fulton Sheen’s preaching helped lead his own grandfather into the Catholic Church.
His grandfather was Lutheran. He married a Catholic woman and would attend Mass with her, but for years he had no intention of converting.
Then he started listening to Fulton Sheen.
Eventually, he became convinced of the truth of the Catholic faith and entered the Church.
Fulton Sheen died in 1979. His preaching is STILL bearing fruit.
In three days, the Church will call him Blessed Fulton Sheen.
Some voices echo for generations.

A story I've told several times: during college, I got a job in an immunology lab despite not majoring in a biological science.
Asked my PI how I should go about learning immunology. He said, "Immunobiology by Charles Janeway."
I bought and read it.
Apparently, no previous undergrad hire had ever done this.
