#Epilepsy is a spectrum disorder, meaning it affects individuals in different ways. Some people may experience frequent seizures, while others may have long periods of seizure freedom with meds. -- When was your last #seizure? #EpilepsyAwareness
Not supporting #SEND kids & their families isn’t just unfair—it’s costly:
💼 More time spent handling complaints.
🤒 Poorer health outcomes.
🚫 Reduced workforce participation.
They should invest in the potential and see the community as problem. 💡
Why do some leading figures not discuss or share with the public they have family members who have special needs or disabilities... surely the world would be a better place if they did #SEND
Accessibility also means sensory accessibility - the founders went to an aquarium yesterday and while it was physically accessible it was sensory overload not sure if this was by design!!!
If Governments want to cut down on the number of people in prison they should improve #SEND provision, this will reduce numbers, save money in the long term, the issue is that means departments will have to work together ...and this is long term investment @TimesRadio
With more prison places needed + costs going up it worth exploring the #SEND school to prison pipeline. Governments should enhance #SEND provision which would improve QOL and reduce costs in the long term

Tribunal is not a choice!! Very concerned about this narrative.
We agree, none of it is working but no mention of the fact that parents are FORCED to go to tribunal to get a SUITABLE school for their #SENDkids or even ANY school! bit.ly/3rXg2BK
Very excited that we are over half way to starting work on our first animation to promote #inclusion and #accessibility .
Thank you so much for all your support so far!! Please keep on sharing so we make it happen!!

A few questions on this
-Where is the evidence?
-What are the heating costs?
-How does this impact children with sensory issues?
-What is the impact on parents ability to work?

A reminder that if adults treat disabled people badly, so will their children.
Remember the consequences of the “burden” mantra and mistreatment leads to the 1930s.
