ALT An old stargate in a distant system, seeming almost as if it had pulled itself from the asteroid it was constructed upon - built by a single man and the drones he engineered across 45 long years of isolation.
ALT The forward section of a centuries-old Gallentean gate construction ship, now interred peacefully on the surface of the asteroid. Damaged irreparably in a jump drive accident, all hands but one were lost - but against all odds, Ceul Darieux cared for and kept the ship alive, persevering and eventually reaching their original destination, where the gate he constructed could be linked back to its distant other end in a system he had set out from so very long ago.
ALT Empty seats gather dust on a quiet bridge, encircled by a transparent wall of reinforced glass allowing the light of Old Man Star (named reverently after Darieux, who was old and grey by the time of his return). A Capsule sits close by in space, itself carrying a sole pilot - providing a comparison of scale not often seen easily in EVE.
