You know what might be a good idea? Playing the best players from the start. Risky I know, but it might just work

Finished earlier and could write an essay on each point you make. But I’ll leave it with another disagreement: past crisps are better than present. Brannigans and Snaps still existed, Monster Munch while still ace were better, and we were all off our tits on now-banned E numbers

Ten minutes in and I feel I need to correct you on the song in the Beer Engine which was about the goat, salt and vinegar. I reckon @TravelingBlade might even have some much sought-after footage of it

Incidentally, I’ve no idea what “that’s the real quiz” is supposed to mean, or even what it’s from, but I’ve heard @Panchero and @TravelingBlade use it so many times that it appears I’ve started using it too

You can argue that the monoculture was too narrow, with no variety and choice, but it brought us closer together. And that’s the real quiz (that you can now too easily cheat on) Well, it’s either that or we are all thicko luddites

Also, you missed the real argument against catch up TV - shared experiences. Kids THESE DAYS aren’t going into the playground in a morning saying “can you fucking BELIEVE what Lion-O did on Thundercats last night!?!?”

Just over halfway through this “technology has made things too easy” episode and nodding along like a simpleton. I constantly bang on about this stuff - basically, all human knowledge in your pocket is a total conversation and adventure killer

I always knew that when I grew up I’d be bragging to my mates about going on holiday and getting birds

RE: Trivial Pursuit - I once read that the best quiz question is one that you don’t know the answer to, but can have a good educated guess at. A great example would be “what animal can jump the highest?”

That was, I’m afraid, not one of the songs I had in mind

🏃Still can’t be arsed with this Olympics thing, especially now it’s cold 🙋‍♂️Androy needs to carefully consider his arm movements and how questionable they look on a small thumbnail

Finally listened to this. Some feedback feedback: 💩Sorry to @a_chimpan 🥊I’m ready to have OPINIONS on 80s/00s hits 🎤Huge amounts of reverb made some of the karaoke almost listenable 🤖Suspiciously listenable in a couple of cases. Heavily suspect AI autotune on one of Liam’s

@Tesco hello. I bought a meal deal last week and this was in the sandwich. No idea what it is. Onion skin maybe? Either way, no business being in a chicken sandwich and certainly no business being in my mouth. I’ve still got it if you need it

Yes, apologies; I may have influenced and/or coined this. But then it’s like my grandma always used to say: “if you don’t want ‘shit’ in your nickname, don’t get turds all over your feet and/or pants”

I’ll explain at length why I was correct when we do the @whorememberspod one hit wonders champion of champions (I probably won’t, but I will slag off the 80s result)

Anyway, what do you mean “again”?

Maybe they make the effort for you. Each time has been a perfectly proficient run through of some good songs, but I demand more from a performance. Maybe I should be United manager?

It’s time for a season review. No, not 26/27, autumn. We consider all pros and cons as United (and nesh people) enter an important period where big decisions have to be made ☁️ soundcloud.com/tufty-club/26… 🟢 open.spotify.com/episode/0Da… 🍎 podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcas… #twitterblades #sufc
