As promised, here's our big news! After 8 great years of Spindle we join forces with @voysnl and continue our journey as Voys. We look forward to building even better products and making impact with @48percent_org. Thanks everyone for the amazing time 💛💙 wearespindle.com/articles/jo…
Happy holidays from all of us at Spindle! 🎄✨ 2022 was a year full of fun, developing new features and enjoying each others company again 💛 What 2023 has in store for us? There's an exciting new step ahead of us for sure, we'll share more about this in the new year! 🥁
From our very first encounter in 2015, we have been fans, participants, coaches and sponsor of @djangogirlsGR. A great initiative to bring more women into tech! In one fun day you'll get a sneak peek of coding life. There are some spots left for the 26th: djangogirls.org/en/groningen…
Another season, another Bliksemstage! 🍂⚡ This time, kids from elementary school De Tamarisk came to visit Voys & Spindle. We had a fun morning full of coding your own game (we 💛 Scratch scratch.mit.edu/), ping pong, and skateboarding around. Thanks @JINC for organizing!
To make it easy for developers to create and deploy a new service on our microservice platform, our infra team used GitOps and set up a Helm template to hide the complexity of Kubernetes. Colleague @c0deaddict tells you all about it: wearespindle.com/articles/cr…
Colleague René, our infra and security superhero for almost 9 years, is leaving Spindle to go on a new adventure. As a goodbye he shares a sneak peek of how we build up our new microservice platform architecture with you 👀 Thanks for everything René! 💛 loom.ly/VS-rwBI
Outside it's raining cats and dogs, but luckily we still have the sunny pictures from last week's The Next Web Conference! We had an awesome time filled with interesting talks, delicious food and of course good company 😉
"What would happen if we cleared our schedules completely to have 100% focus on new techniques for our future products?" This thought led to a month-long company-wide online event called Holodeck 101. On our blog you'll read how we pulled it off: loom.ly/FuRkLUY
Today we went from having no bosses to having 4!
These young leaders from @JINC Baas van Morgen were in charge for the day. They helped us answer the question: how do we make sure that as many people as possible use our apps?
Our bosses did great, thanks for an awesome day!
This Saturday we open up our office for another interesting Women Devs meetup! In this edition you’ll learn how to build a good search engine using the power of AI. Cool, right? You can sign up here: meetup.com/Women-Devs/events…
Just a few hours left before the start of another Startup Weekend! We wish all participants of @swGroningen an inspiring weekend and lots of fun 🤩 Enjoy the ride, our colleague @lkhrtsm will be there to coach you along the way 💪

Yesterday we had the honor to welcome a bunch of girls into our office for #GirlsDay2022
Lots of ping-pong sessions, skating in our office and some binary, ROT13, and Scratch classes in between 🤓
And we also showed them our 'Women in Tech' paintings that we have in our office!
We enjoyed it so much! It's so cool to see their enthusiasm and we really hope they will get into tech in the future 🚀

In the context of inclusiveness, we have implemented the Interchangeable Holiday Policy! 🙌🏼
Wait, the what? With this policy, our colleagues are able to exchange 2 national Dutch holidays per year for any other day of their choice!
After two years we finally could welcome the kids doing the @JINC Bliksemstage at our office again! Skating and biking in the office, oh, and some binary counting 🧮
