H2 2026 diamond drilling at Elizabeth Hill: @wcsilver_ CEO Sergei Smolonogov on what the program is designed to test.
In conversation with Dannika Warburton from Investability, Sergei walks through the up to 18 hole, ~1,800m diamond program at the Elizabeth Hill Silver Project in Western Australia's West Pilbara. West Core Drilling mobilises in the week commencing 5 October, with drilling expected to run to early to mid-December.
Four objectives:
- Increase confidence in the current resource
- Test extensions to the west of the resource
- Establish continuity of the Elizabeth Hill Deeps zone
- Test a potential down-plunge extension below the historic mine
On Elizabeth Hill Deeps, Sergei is clear that this is an interpretation being tested. If it holds, it may represent a discrete new area of mineralisation outside the current resource, but it would need further infill drilling before it could be included in a future resource estimate.
Milestones to watch:
- November 2026: updated resource estimate scheduled
- March 2027: further resource update targeted, incorporating the new drilling
- Q1 2027: Scoping Study scheduled. A Scoping Study is an early stage assessment, and any results will be released to the ASX first

Our silver Investment @wcsilver_ $WCE is set to get drilling underway again at its WA silver project, with the drill rig to mobilise next week.
$WCE 's project hosts the historic Elizabeth Hill mine, which produced 1.2M ounces of silver at ~2,194g/t before shutting in 2000 when silver was ~US$5/oz.
$WCE already has a maiden JORC resource estimate of 2.8M ounces of silver at 617g/t, making it the highest grade silver project on the ASX.

Our Investment @wcsilver_ $WCE just closed a $6M capital raise for its WA silver project.
$WCE 's project previously produced 1.2M ounces of silver at an average grade of ~2,194g/t in the early 2000's.
The project has gone largely untouched since then (with only minor exploration work) - mainly because of what happened to silver prices.
$WCE picked up the asset back in May 2025 and now has a maiden JORC resource on the project of ~2.8M ounces of silver averaging ~617g/t.

Was sceptical when the exec said samples had to go to Canada for assay, figured it was a red flag.
Turns out native silver at Elizabeth Hill runs ~2,200 g/t.
That's 10x the global average for silver mines.
Australian labs simply aren't calibrated for concentrations that high.
Genuine gap in the market and a sign of just how anomalous this deposit actually is.

Our silver exploration Investment @wcsilver_ $WCE just identified a new high-priority drill target at its Elizabeth Hill silver project in WA.
The target came out of the first Down Hole Electromagnetic (DHEM) survey $WCE has ever run at Elizabeth Hill - and it's thrown up a conductor that has never been drill tested before.
It sits just 50 meters east of the old Elizabeth Hill mine and around 110m below surface.
AND there is an old hole ~25m away that hit 2m at 42g/t silver - the target itself, as mentioned earlier has never been drilled.

$WCE’s RC drill program across 4,000m is targeting shallow extensions north and south of the old Elizabeth Hill mine.
That’s the mine that produced ~1.2M ounces of silver at an average grade of ~2,194g/t from just 16,830 tonnes of ore.
We are Invested in $WCE to see it:
1) Drill out and identify silver resources in and around the existing Elizabeth Hill workings.
2) Drill out regional targets (and hopefully discover an Elizabeth Hill repeat)
So this next round of drilling could move $WCE closer to achieving both of our targets.
