People with disabilities face inequitable access to reproductive health care.
They most commonly experience logistical and access-related barriers, such as difficulty finding a place where they feel comfortable that offers reproductive care services. jamanetwork.com/journals/jam…

"This focus on Western ways of thinking is an example of epistemic injustice, wherein marginalised groups are not viewed as credible producers, interpreters or recipients of knowledge"
I am excited to share this new publication with @Dra_Wallace

Academics as #BlackPanther characters, a 🧵:
1. LORD M'BAKU. Imposing presence. Confident, kinda brash, but a formidable, fearless leader who has power & wields it to protect others. A refuge for timid/less powerful colleagues. Institutional & academic bullies fear M'Bakus.
Today marks one year since I got the call from @DrDGrossman letting me know that I was offered a position at @ANSIRH! So much has happened since this moment last year. What a journey it’s been.
Open to current doc, postdoc, or early career investigators! #EpiTwitter
ANSIRH’s @DrSCMRoberts is seeking a researcher from a historically excluded background to work on a NIAAA-funded legal epidemiology study on the impacts of state pregnancy-specific alcohol & drug policies. ansirh.org/diversity-supplem…
